Background: No data on the safety and efficacy of a live attenuated influenza vaccine in China have ever been reported.
Methods: At a site of a phase 3 randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial in eastern China, eligible healthy children aged 3-17 years underwent randomization to receive live attenuated vaccine or placebo at a ratio of 1:1. The primary objective of the study was the prevention of laboratory-confirmed influenza illness during the surveillance period, starting on day 15 after vaccination.

The objective of this study was to analyze the disease burden of influenza in schools and child care settings in rural areas of Hangzhou. Hospital visit influenza cases aged 3-17 years in hospitals that reported based on influenza surveillance system from 2016 to 2018 in Chun'an county, Hangzhou city were selected as study subjects and a total of 294 confirmed cases of influenza were selected using system sampling method. Questionnaires were designed to investigate the basic information and data on inpatients and outpatients among, health care and life quality, etc.

Results: From 1994 to 2015, totally 975 village-times were investigated for snails, and the accumulated area of 4 385.

From 2004 to 2012, fourteen Oncomelania snail remaining spots with an area of 31.954 hm2 were found in the historical snail areas of Xiuzhou District, Jiaxing City. The recurrence time of snails was 5-39 years.

Aim: To evaluate the protective effect of inactivated hepatitis A vaccine (Healive) against hepatitis A outbreak in an emergency vaccination campaign.
Methods: During an outbreak of hepatitis A in Honghe Town, Xiuzhou District, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, two nonrandomized controlled trials were conducted in September 2006. The first trial was to vaccinate 108 anti-HAV negative individuals with close contacts of the patients from September with 1 dose of an inactivated hepatitis A vaccine, Healive.
