Aim: To identify the predictive factors associated with the survival of patients with a diagnosis of primary spinal cord lymphoma (PSCL).
Material And Methods: The Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database was used in this study, which involved 254 patients with PSCL. Data on the patients' age, sex, race, pathology, Ann Arbor stage, adjuvant therapy, and year of diagnosis were collected.
Recent studies have shown that microtransplant (MST) could improve outcome of patients with elderly acute myeloid leukemia (EAML). To further standardize the MST therapy and improve outcomes in EAML patients, based on analysis of the literature on MST, especially MST with EAML from January 1st, 2011 to November 30th, 2022, the International Microtransplant Interest Group provides recommendations and considerations for MST in the treatment of EAML. Four major issues related to MST for treating EAML were addressed: therapeutic principle of MST (1), candidates for MST (2), induction chemotherapy regimens (3), and post-remission therapy based on MST (4).

Following the publication of this paper, it was drawn to the Editors' attention by a concerned reader that the Transwell cell migration assay data shown in Fig. 4B and E were strikingly similar to data appearing in different form in other articles by different authors. Owing to the fact that the contentious data in the above article had already been published elsewhere, or were already under consideration for publication, prior to its submission to , the Editor has decided that this paper should be retracted from the Journal.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the fifth most common cancer and the second most common cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide. As immune response failure is the main factor in the occurrence and poor prognosis of HCC, our study aimed to develop an immune-associated molecular occurrence and prognosis predictor (IMOPP) of HCC. To that end, we discovered a 4-gene immune-associated gene signature: C-C motif chemokine ligand 14 (), kallikrein B1 (), vasoactive intestinal peptide receptor 1 (), and cluster of differentiation 4 ().

Background: Increasing evidence has highlighted the role of ubiquitin-like PHD and RING finger domain-containing protein 1 (UHRF1) in the development of cancers, including hepatocellular carcinoma, pancreatic cancer, and bladder cancer. However, the correlation between UHRF1 and breast cancer remains unclear. The present study aimed to analyze the expression of UHRF1 and its role in the development of invasive ductal breast cancer (IDC) by integrating multilevel expression data and immunohistochemistry analysis.

MicroRNAs (miRs), a class of non-coding RNAs that are 18‑25 nucleotides in length, serve as key regulators in the development and progression of human cancers. Previously, miR‑503 has been implicated in breast cancer. However, the underlying mechanism of miR‑503 in regulating the proliferation and invasion of breast cancer cells remains largely unknown.

In the present study, we investigated the neuroprotective role of p38 inhibition on experimental stroke in rats. p38 inhibition treatment alleviated the brain infarction volume and neurological deficits following ischemia, promoted the activation of Extracellular signal-regulated kinases (ERK1/2), suppressed the activation of Glycogen synthase kinase 3 beta (GSK3b). Application of two p38 inhibitors, both SB239063 and Losmapimod could down-regulate DLP1 and MFF, which were involved in mitochondrial fission and fragmentation.

The activation of hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) and their transformation to myofibroblasts are the key steps in the pathological progress of liver fibrosis. The transforming growth factor-β (TGFβ)/Smad pathway is involved in the proliferation and collagen synthesis of HSCs. This study aimed to examine the effect of the protease inhibitor MG132 on the signaling pathway of TGFβ/Smad in HSC-T6 cells and seek a novel therapeutic approach for liver fibrosis.

We report the clinical and angiographic results of endovascular treatment of unruptured intracranial aneurysms. Over a three-year period, 80 unruptured aneurysms in 74 patients were electively treated with endovascular management. One aneurysm was diagnosed during investigations for a second ruptured aneurysm, 54 aneurysms were incidentally discovered, 18 aneurysms presented with symptoms of mass effect and seven aneurysms presented with symptoms of brain stem ischemia.
