Objective: To investigate the correlation of CT perfusion-related parameters with serum vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and basic fibroblast growth factor (BFGF) in patients with primary liver cancer.

Methods: A total of 100 patients with primary liver cancer who were treated in our hospital from June 2019 to June 2021 were selected as the observation group, and 90 patients with benign liver lesions during the same period were selected as the control group. The CT perfusion-related parameters (perfusion volume and perfusion index) and serum VEGF and BFGF levels were compared between the two groups.

Objective: This study aimed to explore the effect of pre-hospital early intervention combined with an in-hospital emergency model in the emergency care of patients with acute stroke.

Methods: Eighty-six patients with acute stroke treated in our hospital between December 2018 and January 2020 were enrolled prospectively and were divided into two groups according to the random number table method, with 43 cases in each group. The control group received conventional emergency mode care, while the study group received pre-hospital early intervention combined with an in-hospital emergency model.

Background: Arteriovenous fistula of the sigmoid sinus is an abnormal connection of arteries with the sigmoid sinus. Endovascular treatments of such lesions are considered safe and with low rates of complications.

Case Summary: A 62-year-old female patient underwent endovascular treatment of an arteriovenous fistula of the right sigmoid sinus on February 7, 2017, but her tinnitus was not cured.

According to bioinformatics analysis, CC chemokine ligand 23 (CCL23) has clinical significance for survival and prognosis in HCC. The online databases TCGA and CCLE were used to analyze the expression level of CCL23, and its expression was also measured in HCC cell lines by RT-qPCR and Western blotting.

Pediatric angiocentric glioma with acute intracerebral hemorrhage: A case report with 36 months follow-up.

Background: Angiocentric glioma (AG) is an extremely rare intracranial tumor that was first described in 2005 and identified as a special type of intracranial tumor in 2007 by the WHO, which mainly affects children and young adolescents. Proinflammatory polarization of microglia aggravates brain injury in cerebral infarction. The present study focused on the role of long non-coding (lnc)RNA X-inactive specific transcript (XIST) in the phenotype modulation of microglia. It was revealed that lncRNA XIST was significantly upregulated in both a mouse cerebral infarction model induced by middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) and an activated microglial model induced by oxygen/glucose deprivation (OGD).
