Background: Prosthetically guided orthodontics (PGO) can correct the malocclusion for better prosthetic rehabilitation in esthetic rehabilitation. Unlike conventional orthodontic treatment, only minor tooth movement is designed in PGO according to the requirement of subsequent restoration. For better appearance during the treatment, PGO is often performed with clear aligners, which have no metal brackets.

Background: Exosomes generated from adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (Exos), and in particular hypoxia-pretreated ADSCs (HExos), possess therapeutic properties that promote spinal cord repair following spinal cord injury (SCI). Nevertheless, the regulatory mechanisms through which HExos exert their effects remain unclear.
Methods: Here, next-generation sequencing (NGS) was utilized to examine abnormal circRNA expression comparing HExos to Exos.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the anti-pyroptotic effect of resveratrol in the context of ischemia-reperfusion (I/R)-induced retinal injury, with a particular focus on Müller glial cells (MGCs) and to elucidate the underlying molecular mechanisms.
Methods: The retinal I/R model was constructed in mice and pyroptotic markers were measured at six, 12, 24, 48, and 72 hours after I/R injury to determine the peak of pyroptotic activity. The effects of resveratrol on pyroptosis, inflammasomes, and the activation of MGCs after I/R injury were observed on the retina of mice.

Fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) is a key regulator of energy metabolism. Recent studies suggested that serum FGF21 levels increase with declining renal function. However, the link between FGF21 and kidney diseases and the direct effect of FGF21 in renal fibrosis remains unclear.
