Department of Pediatric Orthopedics, Xin Hua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University, School of Medicine, Shanghai 200092, China. Electronic address:

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has reminded us of human infections with the H7N9 virus and has raised questions related to the clinical and molecular pathophysiological diversity between the two diseases. Here, we performed a proteomic approach on sera samples from patients with H7N9-virus or SARS-CoV-2-virus infection and healthy controls. Compared to SARS-CoV-2, H7N9-virus infection caused elevated neutrophil concentrations, T cell exhaustion, and increased cytokine/interleukin secretion.

Background: Parkinson's disease (PD) is a movement disorder characterized by the progressive loss of dopamine neurons. Microglia-mediated neuroinflammation drives disease progression and becomes a critical factor in neuronal degeneration. Recent studies have found that nuclear factor-erythroid 2-related-2 (Nrf2) expression levels are reduced during aging and neurodegenerative diseases, but its regulatory mechanism on microglia-induced neuroinflammation has not been fully elucidated.

Background: Iruplinalkib (WX-0593) is an anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK)/c-ros oncogene 1 (ROS1) tyrosine kinase inhibitor. Here we reported the single-arm, phase II study (INTELLECT) results of the efficacy and safety of iruplinalkib for ALK-positive crizotinib-resistant advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients.

Methods: ALK-positive crizotinib-resistant advanced NSCLC patients aged ≥18 years, with Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status of 0-2 were eligible.

Nilotinib has been used as a third-line drug for gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) after a failure of sunitinib. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the efficacy of nilotinib in different genomic subtypes of GISTs. We searched the English articles through EMBASE, Cochrane Library and PubMed Database regarding to the use of nilotinib on GISTs, which published up to February 15, 2019.

Objective: To explore the value of BI-RADS ultrasonic scores of direct and indirect ultrasonographic signs in diagnosis of solid breast lesions.

Methods: Reference to the standard BI-RADS score, ultrasonic scores of direct and indirect ultrasonographic signs of 132 solid breast lesions were assigned, and were compared with pathological results.

Results: By the direct signs of breast lesions (aspect ratio, shape, border, internal echo, posterior echo, flow grade, sand-like calcification) and indirect signs (changes in local skin thickness, Cooper ligament changes, axillary lymph nodes, depth of reinforcement membrane changes, mass changes in the surrounding burr), the integral from the total scores in benign and malignant breast masses showed a statistically significant difference.

February 2004

Department of Hemotology, The First Affiliated Hospital, XingJiang Medical University, Urumqi 830054 China.

To achieve the complete remission (CR), acute leukemia (AL) patient must get through the period of myeloid ablation after chemotherapy that the white blood cell (WBC) count in peripheral blood decreases rapidly. To observe the relationship of WBC count with therapeutic effectiveness after chemotherapy in previously untreated AL, eighty cases of previously untreated acute leukemia who took the first induction chemotherapy course were analyzed. Blood routine was carried out 2 to 3 times every week while the bone marrow pictures on 12th and 20th day after chemotherapy were observed.

Zhongguo Fei Ai Za Zhi

February 2000

Department of Pulmonary Diseases , The First Hospital , Xingjiang Medical University, Urumqi 830054 , P. R. China.

Background: To explore the relationship between p16 gene expression and oncogenesis , and development of human lung cancer.

Methods: Immunohistochemistry was employed to detect the expression of p16 protein in 114 paraffin-embedded primary lung cancer tissues. Loss of p16 INK4 gene exon 2 (E2) was analyzed using PCR technique in 62 cancer samples with p16 protein-negative stain and 14 paracancerous lung tissues.
