Purpose/objective: The aim of the study was to evaluate the influence of mHealth-based lifestyle interventions on symptoms of anxiety and depression in women with GDM.

Correlation between the expression of CD24 on circulating tumor cells and prognosis in breast cancer.

Objective: To investigate the expression of tumor stem cell marker CD24 in peripheral blood circulating tumor cells (CTCs) of breast cancer and the value of CTCs in predicting the prognosis of breast cancer patients.

Methods: Clinical data of 102 breast cancer patients from January 2015 to December 2019 were retrospectively collected. CTC test results, CD24 test results, tumor size, tumor stage, pathological type, molecular type, lymph node metastasis, survival time, and survival status of patients were collected.

Our study constructed an in vitro model of cerebral ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury to evaluate the protective effect of platelet rich plasma (PRP) on I/R injury and uncover the mechanism behind it. Firstly, N2a cells were exposed in the condition of oxygen and glucose deprivation/reperfusion (OGD/R) to construct a model of cerebral I/R in vitro. MTT assay was employed to access the effects of PRP in N2a cell OGD/R injury.

Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) is a respiratory disorder and chronic intermittent hypoxia (CIH) is an important pathological characteristic of OSAS. Injuries on renal tubular epithelial cells were observed under the condition of CIH. Pyroptosis is a programmed mode of cell death following cell apoptosis and cell necrosis, which is mediated by NLRP3 signaling.

The relationship between glycosylated hemoglobin level and red blood cell storage lesion in blood donors.

Background: Glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c), not routinely screened in blood donors, is associated with morphological, biochemical, and functional abnormalities of red blood cells (RBCs) and with enhanced oxidative stress. We aimed to explore HbA1c levels in blood donors and their effect on RBC storage.
