Background: Sulfasalazine (SSZ) is commonly prescribed for the treatment of ulcerative colitis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. However, it can also trigger a severe drug reaction known as Drug Reaction with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms (DRESS) or Drug-Induced Hypersensitivity Syndrome (DIHS). This article aims to analyze the clinical characteristics of DRESS/DIHS induced by SSZ and provide evidence for clinical diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.

Voriconazole, a broad-spectrum antifungal agent, is considered the first-line treatment for invasive aspergillosis. In this article, we report three cases of patients who experienced visual disturbances and hallucinations following voriconazole therapy for invasive pulmonary aspergillosis. These symptoms appeared within 1 week after initiating voriconazole administration and resolved upon discontinuation or dose reduction of the drug.

Aims: The dysregulated Wnt/β-Catenin signaling pathway leads to occurrence of various diseases, and abnormal activation of β-Catenin is a major characteristic of human HCC. FZD7 is a positive regulator of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, and its upregulation is related to increase of β-catenin expression and carcinogenesis in human HCC. However, mechanisms underlying FZD7 upregulation in HCC remain elusive.

Organelle-targeted photosensitizers (PSs) offer valuable tools for improving photodynamic therapy (PDT), yet systematic studies on how different organelles influence phototherapeutic outcomes are limited. In Candida albicans, Cdr1 pumps azole drugs out of the cells to reduce intracellular accumulation at detrimental concentrations, leading to azole-drug resistance. This study aimed to evaluate the differences in efficacy and safety of best medical treatment (BMT) plus endovascular treatment (EVT) versus BMT alone in acute BAO across different stroke etiologies.
Methods: The study was a post hoc analysis of the ATTENTION trial (Trial of Endovascular Treatment of Acute Basilar-Artery Occlusion), which was a multicenter, randomized trial at 36 centers in China from February 2021 to September 2022.

Aims: This study aimed to explore the effect of Taohong Siwu Decoction (THSWD) on bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) at the cellular level and the possible mechanism of systemic regulation of gut microbiota on fracture recovery.
Methods And Results: Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) experiments show that THSWD effectively promotes the proliferation of BMSCs. Transwell and wound healing assays show that THSWD effectively promotes the invasion and migration of BMSCs.
