Importance: The impact of adjunctive intra-arterial tenecteplase administration following near-complete to complete reperfusion by endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) for acute ischemic stroke is unknown.

Objective: To assess the efficacy and adverse events of adjunctive intra-arterial tenecteplase in patients with large vessel occlusion stroke who had achieved near-complete to complete reperfusion (defined as a score on the expanded Thrombolysis in Cerebral Infarction [eTICI] scale of 2c to 3) after EVT.

Design, Setting, And Participants: Investigator-initiated, randomized, open-label, blinded outcome assessment trial implemented at 34 hospitals in China among 540 patients with stroke due to proximal intracranial large vessel occlusion within 24 hours of the time they were last known to be well, with an eTICI score of 2c to 3 after EVT, and without prior intravenous thrombolysis.

This study aims to comprehensively compare the effects of unicondylar knee arthroplasty (UKA) and high tibial osteotomy (HTO) on wound infection and pain in patients with medial knee osteoarthritis. A computerized search was conducted in Embase, PubMed, Google Scholar, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Cochrane Library and Wanfang databases, from database inception to October 2023, for studies comparing UKA and HTO for medial knee osteoarthritis. Studies selection, data extraction and study quality evaluation were independently conducted by two researchers.

Ten new (-) and nine known (-) austocystins, along with four known anthraquinones (-), were isolated from the culture of NRRL 5856 by bioactivity-guided fractionation. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic data analysis, X-ray crystallographic study, the modified Mosher's method, [Rh(OCOCF3)]-induced ECD spectral analysis, and comparison of the experimental ECD spectra with those of the similar analogues. Compounds - represent the first examples of austocystins with a C-4' oxygenated substitution.

Objective: Unilateral biportal endoscopic (UBE) surgery has recently been used as a minimally invasive procedure for the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis and is associated with less perioperative blood loss. However, perioperative hidden blood loss (HBL) may be neglected during UBE. This study aimed to examine the volume of HBL and discuss the influential risk factors for HBL during unilateral biportal endoscopic surgery.

Hypothesis: Tightening repair of the medial retinaculum complex can result in favorable clinical and functional outcomes in this patient population.
