Objective: To explore the difference in clinical efficacy and safety of transvaginal and transumbilical single port laparoscopy for endometrial cancer.

Methods: We retrospectively included 100 endometrial cancer patients who were admitted to the Fuzhou Second Hospital for surgical treatment from September 2020 to September 2021 and divided them into two groups according to different surgical treatment options. Patients in Group A (48 cases) were treated with transvaginal natural endoscopic surgery (TNES), and those in Group B (52 cases) were with transumbilical single port laparoscopic surgery (TSPLS).

Quantum-chemistry simulations based on potential energy surfaces of molecules provide invaluable insight into the physicochemical processes at the atomistic level and yield such important observables as reaction rates and spectra. Machine learning potentials promise to significantly reduce the computational cost and hence enable otherwise unfeasible simulations. However, the surging number of such potentials begs the question of which one to choose or whether we still need to develop yet another one.

Anticancer peptides (ACPs) eliminate pathogenic bacteria and kill tumor cells, showing no hemolysis and no damages to normal human cells. This unique ability explores the possibility of ACPs as therapeutic delivery and its potential applications in clinical therapy. Identifying ACPs is one of the most fundamental and central problems in new antitumor drug research.

IGF-1R is expressed abnormally in osteosarcoma (OS) and could participate in its progression. In this study, we aimed to explore the effect of the IGF-1R inhibitor PQ401 as a treatment for OS. The relative expression of IGF-1R in OS patient tumors and the U2OS cell line were determined by qRT-PCR and by accessing information in a public database.

Primary Sjögren's syndrome is a chronic inflammatory disorder with many extraglandular organ systems involved, including the lungs. Diffuse interstitial lung disease is the most serious form of lung involvement. Parenchymal lung involvement in primary Sjögren's syndrome is usually manifested by cough and/or slowly progressive dyspnea and most of the cases present as chronic course.
