Background: The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) on subchondral bone marrow edema (BME) and the level of biomarkers in synovial fluid of the knee osteoarthritis.
Methods: Eighty-one patients with symptomatic knee osteoarthritis were randomly divided into two groups according to the number of inpatients. Forty-five cases were treated with intra-articular injection of PRP (PRP group), 36 cases were treated with sodium hyaluronate (SH group), and the clinical effects were evaluated using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) scores.

Background: Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy is a new kind of biological therapy to retune the plasma concentrator into the patient's body for the treatment of osteoarthritis diseases. The present research aimsed to confirm the treatment effects of PRP against osteoarthritis injury and elucidate its potential mechanism via constructing a kind of cellular injury model of human synovial fibroblast cells (HSF cells) induced by synovial fluid from osteoarthritis patients.
Materials And Methods: HSF cells wereas firstly treated with the different doses of synovial fluid from osteoarthritis patients, and evaluated for the cellular injury via cell morphology and MTT assay.

Objective: To bring forward an arthroscopic classification of the popliteal hiatus of the lateral meniscus (PHLM) tears and to assess the effects of arthroscopic all-inside repair with suture hook in management of such injuries.
Methods: This study involved 146 patients who underwent arthroscopic operation because of PHLM tears from April 2014 to October 2017, eliminating the patients who had discoid lateral meniscus. There were 81 males and 65 females, with 54 left knees and 92 right knees.

Rib fracture is the most common injury in chest trauma. Most of patients with rib fractures were treated conservatively, but up to 50% of patients, especially those with combined injury such as flail chest, presented chronic pain or chest wall deformities, and more than 30% had long-term disabilities, unable to retain a full-time job. In the past two decades, surgery for rib fractures has achieving good outcomes.

Objective: To bring forward an arthroscopic classification of the popliteomeniscal fascicles of the lateral meniscus (PFLM) tears.
Design: Six fresh frozen knee joint samples of adult males were chosen, and the lateral meniscus at the popliteal hiatus region were measured to analyze their anatomic relationship. Patients who had received magnetic resonance imaging scan at knee joint before the surgery and diagnosed as PFLM tears by arthroscopy from April 2014 to October 2017 were selected.

A polylactide composite fracture fixator loaded with vancomycin cationic liposome (PLA@VL) was prepared by reverse evaporation method. The method of cationic liposome encapsulating vancomycin could effectively improve antibacterial property and achieve drug sustained release effect, so as to reduce toxicity of antibiotics in vivo. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) was used to observe morphology and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) was used to detect the composition of the internal fixator.

The levels of the products of RNA polymerase III-dependent genes (Pol III genes), including tRNAs and 5S rRNA, are elevated in transformed and tumor cells, which potentiate tumorigenesis. TFIIB-related factor 1 (Brf1) is a key transcription factor and specifically regulates the transcription of Pol III genes. and studies have demonstrated that a decrease in Brf1 reduces Pol III gene transcription and is sufficient for inhibiting cell transformation and tumor formation.

Tenomodulin (Tnmd) is the best-known mature marker for tendon and ligament lineage cells. It is important for tendon maturation, running performance and has key implications for the resident tendon stem/progenitor cells (TSPCs). However, its exact functions during the tendon repair process still remain elusive.

TFIIB-related factor 1 (Brf1) modulates the transcription of RNA Pol III genes (polymerase-dependent genes). Upregulation of Pol III genes enhances tRNA and 5S RNA production and increases the translational capacity of cells to promote cell transformation and tumor development. However, the significance of Brf1 overexpression in human breast cancer (HBC) remains to be investigated.

Alcohol intake is associated with numbers of different human cancers, such as hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and breast cancer. However, the molecular mechanism remains to be elucidated. RNA polymerase III-dependent genes (Pol III genes) deregulation elevates cellular production of tRNAs and 5S rRNA, resulting in an increase in translational capacity, which promote cell transformation and tumor formation.

Objectives: Urethral injury with partial or complete disruption of urethral integrity can lead to voiding problems and serious infections. We report a new management technique involving immediate endoscopic realignment with drainage via peel-away sheath for post-traumatic bulbar urethral rupture.
Methods: Thirteen patients presenting with post-traumatic bulbar urethral rupture between July 2010 and May 2013 were treated.
