This study explores the prediction of mechanical characteristics of linear polyethylene based on oven residence time, employing various regression models and hyper-parameter tuning through the Whale Optimization Algorithm. The dataset comprises one input variable (oven residence time) and three output parameters (Tensile Strength, Impact Strength, and Flexure Strength). The models investigated include Multilayer Perceptron, K-Nearest Neighbors, Support Vector Regression, Polynomial Regression, and Theil-Sen Regression.

This paper aims to enhance the design and operation of a Combined Cooling, Heating, and Power (CCHP) system utilizing a gas engine as the primary energy source for a residential building in China. An Energy, Exergy, Economic, and Environment (4E) analysis is employed to assess the system's performance and impact based on energy, exergy, economic, and environmental criteria. The effectiveness of the DNGO algorithm is evaluated on a case study site and compared with Northern Goshawk Optimization (NGO) and Genetic Algorithm (GA).

Image retrieval technology has emerged as a popular research area of China's development of cultural digital image dissemination and creative creation with the growth of the Internet and the digital information age. This study uses the shadow image in Shaanxi culture as the research object, suggests a shadow image retrieval model based on CBAM-ResNet50, and implements it in the IoT system to achieve more effective deep-level cultural information retrieval. First, ResNet50 is paired with an attention mechanism to enhance the network's capacity to extract sophisticated semantic characteristics.

In this paper, the dynamics of an infectious disease is studied by considering age-structured models; a stage structure and an age-structured epidemic model. The respective basic reproduction numbers for the proposed models are calculated, and the local analyses of the equilibria of the models are investigated by using the method of linearization. The global dynamics of the two models are analyzed by using the wave lemma and the Lyapunov function theory.

The classification inaccuracy occurs to the evaluation calculation of the total factor production impact in the traditional digital economy development area. This paper applies the fuzzy hierarchical (Visualization in Scientific Computing, VISC) algorithm to the calculation method of the total factor production impact evaluation in the digital economy development area. The quantitative recursive method is used to evaluate the ability of the data information model, to achieve the ability of controlling the acquisition of characteristic resources, and complete the classification and summary of the index parameters of the total factor production impact of the digital economy development area.

With the rapid development of the economy and society, geological disasters such as landslides, collapses, and mudslides have shown an intensifying trend, seriously endangering the safety of people's lives and property, and affecting the sustainable development of the economy and society. Aiming at the problems of merging different data layers and determining the weighting of data stacking in the statistical analysis model based on GIS technology in the evaluation of the risk of geological disasters, this study proposes a logistic regression model combined with the RBFNN-GA algorithm, that is, the determination of the occurrence of geological disasters. The fusion coefficient (CF value) with the RBFNN-GA algorithm model, and with the help of SPSS statistical analysis software, solves the problem of factor selection, heterogeneous data merging, and weighting of each data layer in the risk assessment.
