The deformation monitoring of integrated truss structures (ITSs) is essential for ensuring the reliable performance of mounted equipment in complex space environments. Reconstruction methods based on local strain information have been proven effective, yet the identification faces significant challenges due to variable thermal-mechanical loads, interactions among structural components, and special boundary conditions. This paper proposes a deformation reconstruction strategy tailored for ITSs under combined thermal-mechanical load scenarios wherein deformations of both the primary truss structures and the attached panel systems are investigated.

Here, we report a gold-furnished mesh as the current collector for Zn electrodeposition, which is used as the anode in aqueous zinc-ion batteries. The anode exhibits excellent cycling performance without obvious dendrite growth, and the full cell shows an outstanding specific capacity and long-term durability, surpassing those of bare Zn.

Traditional low earth orbit (LEO) satellite networks are typically independent of terrestrial networks, which develop relatively slowly due to the on-board capacity limitation. By integrating emerging mobile edge computing (MEC) with LEO satellite networks to form the business-oriented "end-edge-cloud" multi-level computing architecture, some computing-sensitive tasks can be offloaded by ground terminals to satellites, thereby satisfying more tasks in the network. How to make computation offloading and resource allocation decisions in LEO satellite edge networks, nevertheless, indeed poses challenges in tracking network dynamics and handling sophisticated actions.

High security and effectiveness are critical performance metrics in the data transmission process for satellite remote sensing images, medical images, and so on. Previously, the receiver could gain a high-quality cover image (lossy) after decryption in a separable manner to balance embedding capacity () and security. Completely separable, reversible data hiding in encrypted image (SRDH-EI) algorithms are proposed to address this issue.

Inspired by material hybrid design, novel hybrid sandwich shells were developed by filling a corrugated cylindrical structure with aluminum foam to achieve higher energy absorption performance. The crushing behavior of the foam-filled corrugated sandwich cylindrical shells (FFCSCSs) was investigated using theoretical and numerical methods. Numerical results revealed a significant enhancement in the energy absorption of FFCSCSs under axial compression, showcasing a maximum specific energy absorption of 60 kJ/kg.

Low-pressure discharge causes air ionization resulting in performance degeneration or failure for the satellite sensors in outer space. Here, a one-step Crank-Nicolson Direct-Splitting (CNDS) algorithm is proposed to evaluate the electrical behavior of satellite sensors under the low-pressure discharge circumstance. To be more specific, the CNDS algorithm is proposed in the Lorentz medium, which can accurately analyze the ionized air and generated plasma.

With the constant increase in communication requirements in modern society, the number and type of antennas on communication platforms have been increasing at an accelerating rate. This has led to a continuous increase in platform volume and weight, and the electromagnetic environment of antenna operating has increasingly worsened, seriously restricting the further development of communication systems. As a new communication system antenna type, a reconfigurable microstrip antenna can reconstruct operating frequencies, beam directions, etc.

A large number of sensors work in the narrow bandpass circumstance. Meanwhile, some of them hold fine details merely along one and two dimensions. In order to efficiently simulate these sensors and devices, the one-step leapfrog hybrid implicit-explicit (HIE) algorithm with the complex envelope (CE) method and absorbing boundary condition is proposed in the narrow bandpass circumstance.

Dielectric elastomers (DE) are ideal electro-active polymers with large voltage-induced deformation for the design and realization of soft machines. Among the diversity of configurations of DE-based soft machines, dielectric elastomer minimum energy structures (DEMES) are unique due to their ease of fabrication, readiness to extend into multiple segments, and versatility of design configurations. Despite many successful demonstrations of DEMES actuators, these DEMES devices are limited to immobile use.

The high surface accuracy design of a cable-net antenna structure under the disturbance of the extremely harsh space environment requires the antenna to have good in-orbit adjustment ability for surface accuracy. A shape memory cable-net (SMC) structure is proposed in this paper and believed to be able to improve the in-orbit surface accuracy of the cable-net antenna. Firstly, the incremental stiffness equation of a one-dimensional bar element of the shape memory alloy (SMA) to express the relationship between the force, temperature and deformation was effectively constructed.

The geographic routing protocol only requires the location information of local nodes for routing decisions, and is considered very efficient in multi-hop wireless sensor networks. However, in dynamic wireless sensor networks, it increases the routing overhead while obtaining the location information of destination nodes by using a location server algorithm. In addition, the routing void problem and location inaccuracy problem also occur in geographic routing.

T700 carbon fiber bundles (CFBs) are the primary material used for manufacturing cable-net in a deployable antenna. In this paper, the relationships between the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) of T700 CFBs and the experimental load were investigated. The microstructure of T700 CFBs was analyzed with Raman spectra and XRD before and after the thermomechanical test.
