Background: Brain function and neuronal activity depend on a constant supply of blood from the cerebral circulation. The cerebral venous system (CVS) contains approximately 70% of the total cerebral blood volume; similar to the cerebral arterial system, the CVS plays a prominent role in the maintenance of central nervous system (CNS) homeostasis. Impaired venous autoregulation, which can appear in forms such as cerebral venous congestion, may lead to metabolic abnormalities in the brain, causing severe cerebral functional defects and even chronic tinnitus.

Objective: To investigate the effects of autophagy on N-methy-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor and its subunit NR2B and behavioral test in a rat model of neuropathic pain (NP).

Methods: Male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were divided into sham group, NP group, autophagy inhibitor 3-methyladenine (3-MA) pretreatment group (3-MA+NP group) and autophagy inducer rapamyein (Rap) group (Rap+NP group) by random number table with 22 rats in each group. NP animal model was reproduced by ligating sciatic nerve, while sciatic nerve of the rats in the sham group were only exposed but not ligated.

Background: MicroRNA-647 (miR-647) has been reported to repress cell tumorigenic phenotype, while the function of miR-647 in non-small cell lung cancer was obscure.

Methods: The effect of miR-647 and TRAF2 on A549 and H1299 cells was explored through Methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) assay, colony formation and cell cycle assays. Luciferase reporter assays, reverse transcription quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) and Western blot assay were carried out to determine that TRAF2 is directly regulated by miR-647.
