Objective: There is evidence that the gut microbiota play a regulatory role in the occurrence and progression of tuberculosis. The purpose of the current study was to explore the alterations in gut microbiome under different tuberculosis disease stages in the Uyghur population, clarify the composition of microbial taxonomy, search for microbial biomarkers and provide innovative ideas for individual immune prevention and for control strategies.
Design: A case-control study of Uyghur individuals was performed using 56 cases of pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB), 36 cases of latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) and 50 healthy controls (HC), from which stool samples were collected for 16S rRNA gene sequencing.

BACKGROUND Although the potential effects of long-term and low-dose radiation exposure on physical health have attracted considerable attention, few systematic evaluations have been reported regarding the mental health of occupational groups. This study sought to investigate the effects of occupational radiation exposure on job stress and job burnout of medical radiation staff. MATERIAL AND METHODS Using cluster random sampling, a total of 1573 medical radiation workers were initially selected from 10 hospitals in Xinjiang, China, and 1396 valid questionnaires were finally collected.

Background: Hypertension has been declared as a global public health crisis by the World Health Organization, because of its high prevalence. It affects the health of one billion people worldwide and is directly responsible for the deaths of more than 10 million people per year. The purpose of our research was to explore the influence of occupational stress and psychological health on hypertension of miners who work in a noisy environment and provide decision reference for relevant departments to keep miners' health.

Methods: A total of 6130 factories workers and miners in Urumqi, China were included using a cluster sampling method. The occupational burnout and psychological health were investigates using the Chinese Maslach Burnout Inventory (CMBI) and the Symptom Check List-90 (SCL-90).

This study is to evaluate the effects of different occupational hazards on job stress and mental health of factory workers and miners. A total of 6120 workers from factories and mining enterprises in seven districts and one district of Urumqi were determined using the stratified cluster random sampling method. The Effort-Reward Imbalance (ERI) questionnaire and the Symptom Checklist-90 (SCL-90) were used to evaluate the effects of occupational hazard factors on job stress and mental health of workers.

Objective: This study aimed to explore the impact of atmospheric pollutants on the incidence of tuberculosis (TB), and provide new ideas for the prevention and control of TB in the future.
Methods: It explored the relationship between air pollutants and meteorological factors, as well as between air pollutants and heating through Spearman correlation analysis and rank sum test. Additionally, it analyzed the relationship between air pollutants and TB incidence using the general additive model.

Occupational disease is a huge problem in China, and many workers are under risk. Accurate forecasting of occupational disease incidence can provide critical information for prevention and control.
