Studies have shown that acute exercise alters the expression of circulating neutrophil and peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) genes, affecting a wide range of processes from cellular growth to the promotion of inflammatory and anti-inflammatory responses. In this study, we identified differential gene expression associated with acute exercise and PBMC in puberty children through the GEO database. We utilized bioinformatics technology to analyze the impact of acute exercise on PBMC and identified key genes involving the puberty children.

Objective: The purpose of this meta-analysis was to investigate the effect of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) on arterial stiffness (AS) and vascular function in persons at high risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD).

Methods: We conducted a comprehensive search of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) published in electronic databases (PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane, Embase, and Ebsco) since their inception through October 2023 to evaluate the effect of HIIT on AS and vascular function in persons at high risk for CVD. The weighted mean difference (WMD) and 95% confidence intervals (95% CI) were calculated, and heterogeneity was assessed using the test.

The recognition of martial arts movements with the aid of computers has become crucial because of the vigorous promotion of martial arts education in schools in China to support the national essence and the inclusion of martial arts as a physical education test item in the secondary school examination in Shanghai. In this paper, the fundamentals of background difference algorithms are examined and a systematic analysis of the benefits and drawbacks of various background difference algorithms is presented. Background difference algorithm solutions are proposed for a number of common, challenging problems.

The aim of our study was to explore the conceptions related to partnership between dance sport couples. We conducted in-depth interviews with 20 registered athletes of the Chinese Dance Sports Federation (CDSF) about partnership between dance couples, using the Consensual Qualitative Research (CQR) method. Results revealed that partnership tended to stem from seven domains: (1) mutual understanding, (2) instant intimacy, (3) long-term affection, (4) obligational ties, (5) instrumental ties, (6) tacit factors, and (7) mutual self-disclosure.

Academic emotions can have different influences on learning effects, but these have not been systematically studied. In this paper, we objectively evaluate the influence of various academic emotions on learning effects and studied the relationship between positive and negative academic emotions and learning effects by using five electronic databases, including WOS, EMBASE, PubMed, PsycINFO, and Google Scholar. According to established standards, a total of 14 articles from 506 articles were included in the analysis.

The aim of this systematic review was to evaluate the existing evidence on the effectiveness and safety of Tai chi, which is critical to provide guidelines for clinicians to improve symptomatic management in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). After performing electronic and manual searches of many sources, ten relevant peer-reviewed studies that met the inclusion criteria were retrieved. The existing evidence supports the effectiveness of Tai chi on improving quality of life (QOL) and functional balance in MS patients.
