Background: The prevalence of peripheral arterial disease (PAD) is on the rise globally, leading to adverse clinical outcomes. Our aim was to investigate the causal relationship between apolipoprotein and PAD, as well as the potential mediating role of smoking, diabetes, hypertension, myocardial infarction, and ischemic stroke.

Methods: We employed two-sample Mendelian randomization (TSMR) to assess the causal effect of apoB/A1 on the risk of PAD and potential mediators (smoking, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, myocardial infarction, and ischemic stroke), as well as the causal effect of those mediators on PAD.

To study the effect and mechanism of post-ischemic treatment of nalmefene in alleviating the lung ischemia-reperfusion injury by inhibiting ferroptosis through activation of the Sirt 1/Nrf 2/HO-1 axis. A total of 60 rats were randomly divided into six groups equally (=10): the sham group, the model group(I/R), the nalmefene group, the nalmefene+EX527 group, the nalmefene+ML385 group, the nalmefene+Fe-citrate group (nalmefene+Fe group). The sham group without drug treatment was not treated with ischemia-reperfusion.

The objective of this study was to explore the impact on hospital-family integrated continuation care based on information technology on the negative emotions, family function, and sexual function of patients after cervical cancer surgery. The clinical case data onto 114 postoperative cervical cancer patients who were nursing in our hospital from July 2019 to July 2021 were selected and were divided into a control group and an observation group. The control group used routine nursing care, and on this basis, the observation group used information technology as the basis for hospital-family integrated continuation care, and we observed and compared the differences in the 2 groups of patients bad mood, family function, and sexual function.

This paper combines acupuncture and massage to treat lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion, uses a controlled trial to study the clinical effects of acupuncture combined with massage for the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion, combines mathematical statistics to test the data, and compares and analyzes the statistical object parameters. Through experimental research, it is known that in the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion, in order to obtain a faster and better effect, traditional acupuncture treatment should be combined with massage therapy.

The present study aimed to investigate the effect of diltiazem on cardiovascular risk and exercise tolerance in patients with stable coronary artery disease and hypertension. From 2016 to 2018, 80 patients with stable coronary artery disease (5 < Gensini score < 20) and hypertension were enrolled into the present study. These patients were randomly divided into two groups: diltiazem group (Dil, 90 mg, bid), and control group (angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEI)/angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARB) for reducing blood pressure and β-receptor blockers for controlling heart rate).

Background: Apart from the known anesthetic and antiarrhythmic effects, recent studies also highlight the anticancer activities of local anesthetics. In line with the findings, our work shows that ropivacaine, an amide-linked local anesthetic drug, targets chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) via inhibiting PI3K/Akt/mTOR.

Materials And Methods: The effects of ropivacaine in CML cell lines and primary stem or progenitor cells were investigated using apoptosis, proliferation and colony formation assays.
