The loofah sponge has a complex, three-dimensional, porous mesh fiber structure characterized by markedly low density and excellent vibration isolation properties. In this study, loofah sponges made from dried were divided into two components: the core unit and the shell unit, which were further subdivided into five regions. Static compression performance tests and vibration isolation analysis were conducted on the loofah sponge and its individual parts.

Article Synopsis
  • - This study developed a VEGFR-targeting peptide-drug conjugate, QR-KLU, to reduce tumor size and suppress blood vessel formation in liver cancer (HCC) while also assessing the effectiveness of anti-PD-1 antibodies in treatment.
  • - QR-KLU effectively inhibited the growth and spread of liver cancer cells in tests and, when used with anti-PD-1 antibodies in mice, significantly reduced tumor size, caused tumor cell death, and improved survival rates.
  • - The combination of QR-KLU and anti-PD-1 antibodies enhanced the immune response by increasing the presence of CD8 T cells in tumors and shifting the balance towards a more favorable immune environment, suggesting a potential new strategy for HCC therapy

This paper rigorously addresses the intricate control demands of high-speed, high-pressure, wide adjustable speed range, and high energy utilization efficiency required in hydrogen fuel cell centrifugal compressor, with a focus on the speed control of 40,000 RPM permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs). An improved second-order super twisting sliding mode control (STSMC) strategy is proposed to enhance system stability and robustness by integrating the beetle antennae search (BAS) algorithm and grey wolf optimization (GWO) algorithm. The global search capability of BAS is used to improve the local optima issues of GWO, and then the improved GWO algorithm is utilized to address the issues related to parameter selection and convergence speed inherent in the STSMC.

A six degree-of-freedom (DOF) motion control system for docking with a deep submergence rescue vehicle (DSRV) test platform was the focus of this study. The existing control methods can meet the general requirements of underwater operations, but the complex structures or multiple parameters of some methods have prevented them from widespread use. The majority of the existing methods assume the heeling effect to be negligible and ignore it, achieving motion control in only four or five DOFs.

ℓ-norm based safe semi-supervised learning.

Math Biosci Eng

September 2021

School of Traffic and Transportation Engineering, Wuhan Institute of Shipbuilding Technology, Wuhan 430050, China.

In the past few years, Safe Semi-Supervised Learning (S3L) has received considerable attentions in machine learning field. Different researchers have proposed many S3L methods for safe exploitation of risky unlabeled samples which result in performance degradation of Semi-Supervised Learning (SSL). Nevertheless, there exist some shortcomings: (1) Risk degrees of the unlabeled samples are in advance defined by analyzing prediction differences between Supervised Learning (SL) and SSL; (2) Negative impacts of labeled samples on learning performance are not investigated.

Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hubei University of Science and Technology, Xianning, 437100 China ; College of Automation, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, 430074 China.

In this paper, a nonlinear model for genetic regulator networks (GRNs) with SUM regulatory logic is presented. Four sufficient and necessary conditions of global asymptotical stability and global exponential stability for the equilibrium point of the GRNs are proposed, respectively. Specifically, three weak sufficient conditions and corresponding corollaries are derived by using comparing theorem and Dini derivative method.
