This study investigates a new training method that combines rapid stretch compound training with blood flow restriction to improve upper limb performance in basketball players.
A randomized crossover trial with ten male athletes was conducted, measuring the effectiveness of four different training interventions on their bench press throw.
The results show that the combined method produced significantly better post-activation performance enhancements at 4 minutes post-intervention compared to the other methods and maintained some effects up to 12 minutes, indicating its potential superiority for athletes.
