The manufacture of regenerated cellulose-based fibers for better mechanical and comfort qualities was stimulated by the rising demand for cotton and the low production rate needed to meet global demands. Modal-cotton blend provides better tensile and moisture management properties. Mathematical Modelling and Optimization for Facile Synthesis of Structured Activated Carbon (ACs) from () Wood Chips Integrating Microwave-Assisted Pyrolysis for the Elimination of Lead (II) Cations from Wastewater Effluents.

In this research, activated carbon (AC) was synthesized from ligno-cellulosic residues of wood chips (AKTW) using two-step semi-carbonization and subsequent pyrolysis using microwave-induced heating (MWP) in the presence of a mild activating agent of KCO. The influence of process input variables of microwave power (), residence time (), and amount of KCO () were analysed to yield superior quality carbon having maximum removal efficiencies () for lead (II) cations from waste effluents, fixed carbon percentages (), and carbon yield percentages (). Introduction: The outbreak of COVID-19 poses great challenges for patients on maintenance haemodialysis. Here, we reported the clinical characteristics and laboratory features of maintenance haemodialysis (MHD) patients with COVID-19 in Bangladesh.

Methods: Altogether, 67 MHD patients were enroled in the study from two dedicated tertiary-level hospitals for COVID-19 after the prospective cross-sectional execution of selection criteria.

Behavioral preventive measures and the use of medicines and herbal products among the public in response to Covid-19 in Bangladesh: A cross-sectional study.

The present study was conducted to assess the behavioral preventive measures and the use of medicines and herbal foods/products among the public in response to Covid-19. A cross-sectional survey comprised of 1222 participants was conducted from 27 June to 20 July 2020. Kruskal-Wallis test was used to identify the differences in behavioral preventive practices across different demographic categories.
