Background: Health care routinely fails Indigenous peoples and anti-Indigenous racism is common in clinical encounters. Clinical training programs aimed to enhance Indigenous cultural safety (ICS) rely on learner reported impact assessment even though clinician self-assessment is poorly correlated with observational or patient outcome reporting. We aimed to compare the clinical impacts of intensive and brief ICS training to control, and to assess the feasibility of ICS training evaluation tools, including unannounced Indigenous standardized patient (UISP) visits.

Background: Recent reports indicate that self-isolation because of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)-related lockdowns had significant influence on mental health of medical students.
Aim: To understand the relationship between two different motivations for solitude - self-determined versus non-self-determined with medical students' COVID-19-related anxiety and psychological resilience during their self-isolation because of COVID-19-related lockdowns.
Materials And Methods: After the approval of the Institutional Ethics Committee, this online survey was done on undergraduate Indian medical students during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) doesn't have well-defined molecular targets making it unable to treat with chemotherapy also have faster metastatic rate and worse survival rate. In the current study we aim to target TNBC through eco-friendly green synthesized silver nanoparticles having anti-cancer phytoconstituents from the traditional anti-cancer medicinal plant Eclipta alba. Green synthesized silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are agglomerates of spherical shaped 40-60 nm sized showing characteristic light absorption at 437 nm, banding pattern at 1479, 1285, 1036, and 471 showing and further X-ray diffraction pattern confirm face-centered cubic crystal silver structure exist in the green synthesized silver nanoparticle preparation.

Objective: To address suboptimal cardiovascular risk prediction in patients with psoriatic disease (PsD), we developed and internally validated a five-year disease-specific cardiovascular risk prediction model.
Methods: We analyzed data from a prospective cohort of participants with PsD without a history of cardiovascular events. Traditional cardiovascular risk factors and PsD-related measures of disease activity were considered as potential predictors.

Background: Caregivers of patients with schizophrenia have a considerable burden of care and develop different coping strategies to deal with the caregiving burden.
Aim: The aim of this article is to assess gender differences in the burden of care and coping strategies used among caregivers of clinically stable patients with schizophrenia.
Methods: In this cross-sectional study, a total of 57 caregivers (33 males and 24 females) of the patients with schizophrenia attending a psychiatric outpatient setting were included by purposive sampling.

Unlabelled: The World Health Organization estimates that more than 23 million individuals worldwide suffer from rheumatoid arthritis (RA), a chronic systemic autoimmune disease and experts predict that the number of RA patients may double by 2030. A substantial portion of RA patients do not respond effectively to the treatment that are already available therefore there is an urgent need of innovative new drugs. Over the past several years, Peptidyl Arginine Deiminase Type 4 (PAD4) receptors have become potential therapeutic targets for the treatment of RA.

Background: Audit and feedback aims to improve patient care by comparing healthcare performance against explicit standards. It is used to monitor and improve patient care, including through National Clinical Audit (NCA) programmes in the UK. Variability in effectiveness of audit and feedback is attributed to intervention design; separate randomised trials to address multiple questions about how to optimise effectiveness would be inefficient.

The 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic created an immediate need to enhance current efforts to reduce transfers of nursing home (NH) residents to acute care. Long-Term Care Plus (LTC+), a collaborative care program developed and implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic, aimed to enhance care in the NH setting while also decreasing unnecessary acute care transfers. Using a hub-and-spoke model, LTC+ was implemented in 6 hospitals serving as central hubs to 54 geographically associated NHs with 9574 beds in Toronto, Canada.

Stride detection, or the identification of the initial (IC) and terminal contact (TC) of the feet while walking, is important for gait analysis. Automatic stride detection based only on kinematic data is challenging, even when using portable, low-cost, user-friendly Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs). Although there are algorithms for straight walking available, they are often not applicable to other movement patterns.

Polyvinyl-pyrrolidone capped spherical cadmium sulphide quantum dots (CdS-PVP QDs), 2-6 nm in size, were developed as a selective turn-on fluorescence nanosensor for monohydrogen phosphate ion (HPO) in aqueous medium. Fluorescence intensity of CdS-PVP QDs significantly increased with addition of HPO ions, whereas the other common inorganic ions had very little effect on the fluorescence intensity. The proposed sensor may be efficiently used for the detection of HPO ions at a low level of concentration up to 213 nM in real urine sample.

Status of diabetes of an individual is majorly evaluated by the frequent monitoring of glucose estimation. Use of serum samples and inappropriate plasma for estimating glucose is an existing practise in Indian standard of laboratories. There is a strong evidence for occurrence of in vitro glycolysis on the above mentioned specimens.
