In recent years, an increasing number of studies have utilized molecular biology techniques to reveal important molecular heterogeneity among different subtypes of liposarcoma. Each subtype exhibits distinct genetic patterns and molecular pathways, which may serve as important targets for molecular therapy. In the present review, we focus on the molecular characteristics, molecular diagnostics, driver genes, and molecular mechanisms of liposarcoma.

Background: It has been shown that antinuclear antibodies (ANAs) are associated with adverse reproductive events. The presence of ANAs may reduce the pregnancy rate in women undergoing assisted reproductive technology (ART) treatment.
Methods: This study aimed to investigate the potential effect of ANAs on the outcomes of infertile women undergoing in-vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET) or intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) for the first time.

Hamartoma is a congenital benign lesion commonly found in the lungs, kidneys, colon, and other regions, but it is seldom seen in the oral cavity. Multiple hamartoma occurrences in the tongue are particularly rare. This article describes a 7-day-old female infant with multiple tongue tumors and a cleft palate, who had difficulty feeding and subsequently underwent tumor removal under general anesthesia.

The cyclic guanosine monophosphate-adenosine monophosphate (GMP-AMP) synthase (cGAS)-stimulator of interferon genes (STING) pathway is a part of the innate immune system that plays a role in the cardiovascular system. It acts as a surveillance system, detecting and responding to cytosolic DNA, viral DNA, and other intracellular DNA species. Activation of the cGAS-STING pathway leads to the production of inflammatory cytokines and type I interferons, which are involved in the immune response.

A novel cyclic chalcone fluorescent probe C-PN was synthesized to detect ONOO. After reaction with peroxynitrite, the double bond of C-PN in the cyclic chalcone structure was disconnected, which caused the change of intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) effect, emitting blue fluorescence and quenching orange red fluorescence. Visible to the naked eye, the color of the probe solution changed.

Background: The emergence of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) provides a variety of options for patients with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). After the application of ICIs, the immune system of patients was highly activated, and immune-related adverse events (irAEs) could occur in some organ systems, and irAEs seemed to be associated with the survival prognosis of patients. Therefore, we evaluated the association between survival outcomes and irAEs in NSCLC patients and conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis.

Background: Compound Taxus capsule, as an antineoplastic Chinese patent drug, has been increasingly applied as an adjunctive treatment for the management of non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and some other malignancies, but research about its antitumor activity and radiosensitization effect on hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells is very rare.
Purpose: To investigate the antitumor activity and radiosensitization effect of Compound Taxus on HCC cells and to preliminarily explore the possible molecule mechanisms involved.
Methods: Cell viability, cell cycle distribution, apoptosis, DNA damage repair and protein expression levels were detected by CCK-8 assay, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence staining, western blotting analysis and immunohistochemical staining, respectively.

Background: Currently, bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) have been reported to promote endometrial regeneration in rat models of mechanically injury-induced uterine adhesions (IUAs), but the therapeutic effects and mechanisms of hypoxic BMSC-derived exosomes on IUAs have not been elucidated.
Objective: To investigate the potential mechanism by which the BMSCS-derived exosomal miR-424-5p regulates IUA angiogenesis through the DLL4/Notch signaling pathway under hypoxic conditions and promotes endometrial injury repair.
Methods: The morphology of the exosomes was observed transmission electron microscopy, and the expression of exosome markers (CD9, CD63, CD81, and HSP70) was detected flow cytometry and Western blotting.

Acute pancreatitis (AP) is a common acute abdomen and the number one cause of acute digestive hospitalizations in the United States. Abdominal pain is the main clinical manifestation of abdominal symptoms, so reducing the abdominal symptoms caused by inflammation is very important to alleviate the pain of patients. Electroacupuncture (EA) as a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) therapy has significant conditioning effects on various inflammatory diseases including AP.

COVID-19 is an inflammatory disease with multiple organs involved, mainly respiratory symptoms. Although the majority of patients with COVID-19 present with a mild to moderate self-limited course of illness, about 5-10% of patients with inflammatory disorders in severe COVID-19 have life-threatening progression. With the exception of a few drugs that have shown outstanding anti-COVID-19 effects, the efficacy of most drugs remains controversial.
