To investigate DNA methylation patterns in asthenozoospermic and normozoospermic sperm and to explore the potential roles of differential methylations in the etiology of the disease. The authors performed whole-genome bisulfite sequencing analysis between normozoospermic controls and asthenozoospermic individuals. The authors identified 238 significant differentially methylated regions.

Age-specific random day serum antimüllerian hormone reference values for women of reproductive age in the general population: a large Chinese nationwide population-based survey.

Background: Antimüllerian hormone, the most reliable biomarker of ovarian reserve, is widely used in various clinical situations. Antimüllerian hormone levels consistently decrease with age. However, there is no standard, age-specific reference values for antimüllerian hormone in women of reproductive age, which limits its application.

Differences in pulmonary nodular consolidation and pulmonary cavity among drug-sensitive, rifampicin-resistant and multi-drug resistant tuberculosis patients: a computerized tomography study with history length matched cases.

Background: There have been concerns that literature described radiological feature differences between drug-sensitive pulmonary tuberculosis (DS-PTB) and multidrug-resistant (MDR)-PTB were confounded by that MDR-PTB cases tend to have a longer history. Using history length matched DS-PTB and MDR-PTB cases from a well-defined urban region in Dalian, we retrospectively analysed the CT feature differences of these paired cases with a focus on pulmonary nodular (PN) consolidation and pulmonary cavity (PC).

Methods: There were 33 consecutive MDR-PTB cases [inclusive of rifampicin-resistant (RR) cases, 27 males and 6 females, mean age: 49.

Objective: To study the correlation between mutation status and the risk of adverse reactions in patients with ovarian cancer.

Method: A real-world study was conducted at the largest gynecological oncology center in western China, the West China Second University Hospital of Sichuan University. The research subjects were patients diagnosed with ovarian cancer who were initially treated in our hospital from January 2016 to January 2020 and had their gene status evaluated.

Background And Objective: The establishment of maternal-fetal interface immune tolerance is essential for successful pregnancy. Studies have shown that spontaneous abortion, recurrent abortion, and fetal growth restriction are related to maternal-fetal interface immune dysfunction. Preeclampsia is an idiopathic condition related to pregnancy which manifests as hypertension, proteinuria, and other target organ damage after 20 weeks of gestation.

Idiopathic membranous nephropathy (IMN), a rare cause of NS in children, may progress to chronic kidney disease. However, there is little data on how to evaluate and treat IMN in children.

Can prenatal diagnosis of parachute mitral valve be achieved? A case report of fetal parachute mitral valve.

Parachute mitral valve (PMV) is a common form of congenital mitral stenosis and is difficult to diagnose prenatally. This report describes a fetal case of PMV with coarctation of the aorta that was diagnosed at 25 weeks' gestation by echocardiography and confirmed at autopsy. We describe the ultrasonographic features in this case and present a useful sign for making a prenatal diagnosis of PMV.

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the prevalence of chronic endometritis (CE) in women with minimal/mild endometriosis and to analyze whether CE affects their pregnancy outcomes.

Methods: This retrospective study included 201 infertile women who were diagnosed with minimal/mild endometriosis after undergoing hysteroscopy combined with laparoscopy from January 2016 to December 2018. Immunohistochemistry was used to detect CD138 and CD38, which are specific markers of plasma cells in the endometrial stroma to diagnose CE.

In this study, we aimed to establish the associations between functional connectome of large-scale brain networks and influences of CM evaluated through Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ) at the individual level based on resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging data of 215 adults.

Background: Variants in the CASK gene result in a wide range of observed phenotypes in humans, such as FG Syndrome 4 and intellectual disabilities. Intellectual developmental disorder with microcephaly and pontine and cerebellar hypoplasia (MICPCH) is an X-linked disorder that affects females and is characterized by severely impaired intellectual development and variable degrees of pontocerebellar hypoplasia. Variants in CASK are the main genetic cause of MICPCH.

Its compatibility and stability with common clinical drugs such as antibiotics was rarely reported to ensure the children's safety and the rational use of drugs. The aim of the present study was to investigate physical and chemical stability of pediatric electrolyte supplements injection mixed with ten commonly used clinical drugs.
