Objective: To assess a safe surgical approach for intertransverse process lower thoracic intervertebral body fusion (ITIF) based on measurements from enhanced three-dimensional CT reconstruction, cadaver simulated operation, and patient operation.
Methods: Enhanced three-dimensional CT image reconstruction was performed for 20 healthy volunteers on thoracic segments T8-T12. The length of the transverse process (LTP), distance between the upper and lower transverse processes (DULTP), remote distance of the transverse process (RDTP), height of the extraforaminal intervertebral space (HEIS), and oblique diameter of the intervertebral space (ODIS) were measured and recorded.

Objective: To derive the Chinese medicine (CM) syndrome classification and subgroup syndrome characteristics of ischemic stroke patients.
Methods: By extracting the CM clinical electronic medical records (EMRs) of 7,170 hospitalized patients with ischemic stroke from 2016 to 2018 at Weifang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Shandong Province, China, a patient similarity network (PSN) was constructed based on the symptomatic phenotype of the patients. Thereafter the efficient community detection method BGLL was used to identify subgroups of patients.
Objective: In order to study the application of multimodal neuroimaging in the treatment of neurological patients, the brain of patients was scanned and identified through multimodal neuroimaging, so as to provide basis for doctors to judge their diseases and give treatment plans.
Method: Understand the principle of multimodal neural scene currently used through literature analysis, analyze the current level of neurological diseases in the medical field and the application of multimodal neural image in diseases, recalculate the imaging examination data through neurofuzzy algorithm, and obtain a more optimized identification method than the previous visual judgment method.
Result: The image inspection data is dimensioned through computer spatial convolution.

Background: To explore the effects and deficiencies of the enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) care protocol on patients undergoing lumbar fusion and internal fixation in perioperative care.
Methods: A total of 166 patients with lumbar fusion and internal fixation were collected and divided into two groups, among which 86 patients received ERAS care protocol were attributed into ERAS group, while the other 80 patients received traditional perioperative care protocol were assigned to control group. Then, the degree of pain, self-care ability and the degree of recovery were assessed using the visual analogue scale (VAS), Barthel index (BI) rating scale and the Sino-version Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) questionnaire, respectively.

In response to the ever-increasing demand of lower limb rehabilitation, this paper presents a novel robot-assisted gait trainer (RGT) to assist the elderly and the pediatric patients with neurological impairments in the lower limb rehabilitation training (LLRT). The RGT provides three active degrees of freedom (DoF) to both legs that are used to implement the gait cycle in such a way that the natural gait is not significantly affected. The robot consists of (i) the partial body weight support (PBWS) system to assist patients in sit-to-stand transfer via the precision linear rail system and (ii) the bipedal end-effector (BE) to control the motions of lower limbs via two mechanical arms.

Four hybrid goats were selected, and the skin was cut and exposed directly under general anesthesia and tracheal intubation. Objective: This study was intended to evaluate the effects of gangliosides combined with mouse nerve growth factor (NGF) on the expression of serum hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α), neuron-specific enolase (NSE), and soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (sICAM-1) levels in neonates with ischemic-hypoxic encephalopathy (HIE).
Methods: One hundred and thirty neonates with HIE admitted to our hospital from May 2017 to April 2019 were grouped into two groups according to the protocol of a randomized controlled trial, with 65 cases in each group. The control group received ganglioside treatment, while the combined group was treated with ganglioside + NGF for 2 weeks.
