This study aims to study the role of gefitinib on patients with advanced EGFR-mutation NSCLC (Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer). Totally 115 patients with advanced EGFR-mutation NSCLC treated in our hospital were enrolled as research objects. They were randomly divided into control group (n=57) applied with cisplatin ± pemetrexed and experimental group (n=58) subject to gefitinib± cisplatin ± pemetrexed, both groups were applied with treatment for 4 cycles.

Objective: To investigate the effect of sevoflurane on inflammation of microglia in hippocampus of neonatal rats, and to investigate whether the related mechanism is related to Wnt/β-Catenin/CaMKIV pathway.

Methods: Neonatal rats were anesthetized with 2% or 3% sevoflurane for 4 h a day for 3 consecutive days. Water maze test was used to detect the effect of sevoflurane anesthesia on memory function of neonatal rats.

Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) forms the majority of the entire cancerous tumors which occur in the mouth. Current treatment advances, such as surgical resection, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy, have significantly helped reduce OSCC. However, the overall patient survival rate remains relatively low.

Psychological stress is closely related to the occurrence and prognosis of various malignant tumors, but the underlying mechanisms are not well studied. CD147 has been reported to be expressed in glioma and other malignant tumors. CD147 not only participates in lactic acid transport, but it also plays an important role in the invasion and metastasis of malignant tumor cells by stimulating the production of numerous matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) and vascular endothelial growth factor by fibroblasts, and could also act as an autocrine factor stimulating MMPs production in metastatic tumor cells.

Background: To investigate the clinical value of HE4 detection in the diagnosis of lung cancer and the clinical significance of combined detection with CEA, NSE and CYFRA21-1. Methods: 90 cases of lung cancer, 30 cases of pulmonary tuberculosis, 30 cases of pneumonia and 30 cases of health physical examination were selected. The levels of serum HE4, CYFRA21-1, CEA and NSE were detected by electrochemiluminescence method.

Sex determining region Y-box protein 5 (SOX5) is a transcriptional factor and serves important roles in various cancer types; however, the pathological role of SOX5 in patients with breast cancer remains unclear. In the present study, the expression and potential role of SOX5 in patients with breast cancer and in breast cancer cells was investigated. The data indicated that SOX5 was highly expressed in breast cancer tissues compared with adjacent healthy tissues, and overexpression of SOX5 was associated with a reduced overall survival rate in patients with breast cancer.

Avoidance of apoptosis induced by anticancer drugs is an essential factor of carcinogenesis and a hallmark of resistance to cancer therapy. Human telomerase reverse transcriptase receptor (hTERTR) is a potential anti-cancer agent for inhibiting tumor growth. Family with sequence similarity 96 member A (FAM96A) is a ubiquitous, conserved protein and possesses apoptosome-activating and pro-apoptotic tumor suppressor potential in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).

The ability of metal oxide nanoparticles to penetrate the skin has aroused a great deal of interest during the past decade due to concerns over the safety of topically applied sunscreens that contain physical UV-resistant metal particles, such as nano-Zinc oxide (nZnO). Previous studies demonstrate that metal oxide nanoparticles accumulate in skin furrows and hair follicles following topical application while little is known about the consequence of these nanoparticles on skin homeostasis. The current investigation tested the effects of nZnO (0.

To study of effect on solution-focused approach in improving the negative emotion of surgical patients in department of vascular surgery. 120 patients treated with vascular surgery in our hospital from January 2014 to December 2015 were selected as research object, and they were randomly divided into control group and observation group with 60 cases in each group according to the random number table, the control group were given to routine nursing and psychological guidance, the observation group were given to solution-focused approach, then the POMS score and SCL-90 score of two groups before and after the intervention at first and second week were compared. Results The factors score of POMS score and SCL-90 score of observation group after the intervention at first and second week were all better than those of control group, all the factor score of two groups after the intervention at first and second week were compared, there were all significant differences (all P<0.

Infertility has long been a difficult issue for many couples. The successful differentiation of germ cells and live progeny from pluripotent stem cells brings new hope to the couples suffering with infertility. Here we successfully isolated human fetus skin-derived stem cells (hfSDSCs) from fetus skin tissue and demonstrated that hfSDSCs can be differentiated into early human germ cell-like cells (hGCLCs).

Background: Detection of cervical high grade lesions in patients with atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance (ASCUS) is still a challenge. Our study tested the efficacy of the paired boxed gene 1 (PAX1) methylation analysis by methylation-sensitive high-resolution melting (MS-HRM) in the detection of high grade lesions in ASCUS and compared performance with the hybrid capture 2 (HC2) human papillomavirus (HPV) test.

Materials And Methods: A total of 463 consecutive ASCUS women from primary screening were selected.

Department of Clinical Laboratory, Weifang City People's Hospital, Weifang, Shandong, China E-mail :

This study is aimed to investigate the role of paired boxed gene 1 (PAX1) methylation analysis by methylation- sensitive high-resolution melting (MS-HRM) in the detection of high grade lesions in atypical squamous cells cannot exclude high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (ASC-H) and compared its performance with the Hybrid Capture 2 (HC2) human papillomavirus (HPV) test. In our study, 130 cases with a diagnosis of ASC-H from the cervical cytological screening by Thinprep cytologic test (TCT) technique were selected for triage. Their cervical scrapings were collected and evaluated by using PAX1 methylation analysis (MS-HRM) and high-risk HPV DNA test (HC2), followed by colposcopy and cervical biopsy.

Objective: To study the value of single photon emission-computed tomography (SPECT) lymphatic imaging by percutaneous injection of 99mTc-DX105 in detecting cervical lymph node metastasis of laryngeal and hypopharyngeal carcinoma.

Method: One-three days before the operation, 185MBq 99mTc-DX105 was injected via bilateral mastoids portion percutaneously in each of 30 patients with laryngeal and hypopharyngeal carcinoma, and thus SPECT lymphatic imaging was conducted. Then, the diagnostic result was compared with those of pathological examination of neck dissection specimens.
