Objective, the aim is an analysis of sociodemographic factors that had an essential relation with undertaking leisure-time physical activity-LTPA (with particular emphasis on World Health Organization (WHO) health recommendations) by adult Poles from a time-trend perspective. Methods, the paper is based on data retrieved from five large-scale surveys carried out on the representative samples of Poles aged 15-69 in 2014-2018 ( = 7347). In each wave, the Polish long version of the International Physical Activity Questionnaire was used.

Introduction And Objective: There is a significantly higher risk of lipid disorders occurrence, including atherogenic dyslipidemia in women after menopause than it is in general population. The aim of the work was to investigate the correlation between health behaviours and the occurrence of lipid disorders in women after menopause working in agriculture.
Material And Methods: The study was conducted in years 2015-2016 and included 843 post-menopausal women working in agriculture.
Aim: The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to clarify the effect of a specific standardised extract of red clover (Trifolium pratense) on the lipid profile of perimenopausal and postmenopausal women.
Methods: Medline (PubMed), EMBASE, and Cochrane Library electronic databases were searched for papers in English reporting randomized controlled trials published up to 2017. Reference lists from those papers were checked for further relevant publications.

Objectives: No previous study to the best of our knowledge has examined the association between childlessness and health using a wide range of countries and health outcomes. This study improves previous literature by examining the relationship between "childlessness" (1 = childless for any reason, 0 = parent of biological, step, or adopted child) and health across 20 countries and five health outcomes.
Methods: Drawing on cross-sectional harmonized data from the family of Health and Retirement Surveys across the United States (HRS, Wave 11), Europe (SHARE, Waves 4 and 5), Mexico (MHAS, Wave 3), and China (CHARLS, Wave 2), we use logistic regression models to estimate the association between childlessness and poor health (poor self-rated health, 1 or more ADL limitations, 1 or more IADL limitations, 1 or more chronic conditions, and depression) in a sample of adults aged 50 and older across 20 countries (N = 109,648).

Despite the fact that many important problems (including clustering) can be described using hypergraphs, theoretical foundations as well as practical algorithms using hypergraphs are not well developed yet. In this paper, we propose a hypergraph modularity function that generalizes its well established and widely used graph counterpart measure of how clustered a network is. In order to define it properly, we generalize the Chung-Lu model for graphs to hypergraphs.

This analysis of the Polish health system reviews recent developments in organization and governance, health financing, health care provision, health reforms and health system performance. In late 2017, the Polish government committed to increase the share of public expenditures on health to 6% of GDP by 2024. If the GDP continues to grow in the years to come, this will present an opportunity to tackle mounting health challenges such as socioeconomic inequalities in health, high rates of obesity, rising burden of mental disorders and population ageing that put strain on health care resources.

Introduction: Circulating soluble programmed death 1 (PD-1), neuropilin 1 (NRP-1) and human leukocyte antigen-G (HLA-G) take part in modulating immune tolerance causing disturbances in the molecular mechanisms responsible for maintenance of balance between effector and regulatory components of the immune system. Since their cell-surface expression levels were found to be changed in lesional and/or non-lesional skin of psoriatic patients, analysis of soluble PD-1, NRP-1 and HLA-G concentrations sheds more light on their role in detecting unbalanced immune tolerance in psoriasis.
Aim: To assess soluble PD-1, NRP-1 and HLA-G concentrations in psoriasis.

Introduction: To assess the across-shift changes of cytokine concentrations in nasal lavage (NAL) samples were collected from workers exposed to bacterial cell wall components present in organic dust in three different occupational environments.
Material And Methods: The study was conducted in 38 employees including 10 workers from a municipal waste sorting plant (WSP), 20 from a sewage treatment plant (STP) and 8 from an office building (OB), who were established as a reference group, not exposed to organic dust. Interleukins 1β (IL-1β), 6 (IL-6), 8 (IL-8) and tumour necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) were examined in NAL before and after work shift on Wednesdays.
