Miya Community Research Collective (www.miyacommunityresearchcollective.org), Barpeta, Assam, India.
In this paper, we name and uplift the ways in which Miya community workers are building communities of resistance as ways to address the manifold colonial, structural (including state-sponsored), and epistemic violence in their lives. These active spaces of refusal and resistance constitute the grounds of our theorizing. Centering this theory in the flesh, we offer critical implications for decolonial liberatory praxis, specifically community-engaged praxis in solidarity with people's struggles.

Objectives: To evaluate the predictive value of volumetric bone mineral density (BMD) assessment of the lumbar spine derived from phantomless dual-energy CT (DECT)-based volumetric material decomposition as an indicator for the 2-year occurrence risk of osteoporosis-associated fractures.
Methods: L1 of 92 patients (46 men, 46 women; mean age, 64 years, range, 19-103 years) who had undergone third-generation dual-source DECT between 01/2016 and 12/2018 was retrospectively analyzed. For phantomless BMD assessment, dedicated DECT postprocessing software using material decomposition was applied.

Although studies have indicated the influences of job crafting on contemporary employees' working outcomes, the path from job crafting to turnover intention is still unexplored in depth. Drawing on goal facilitation theory, we delineate how job crafting relates to turnover intention through organizational instrumentality and is conditioned by inclusive leadership. We collected data from 218 employees from Chinese high-tech companies at two different time points by submitting survey questionnaires.

Detection of statistical irregularities, measured as a prediction error response, is fundamental to the perceptual monitoring of the environment. We studied whether prediction error response is associated with neural oscillations or asynchronous broadband activity. Electrocorticography was conducted in three male monkeys, who passively listened to the auditory roving oddball stimuli.

Zero responses and their equivalents-for example, never, none, not at all-are commonly observed on measures of psychopathology inquiring about symptom frequencies, particularly when these measures are administered to community samples. Measurement researchers typically accommodate multivariate zero inflation by including a class of respondents who endorse zero for all symptoms. While this latent class approach accounts for test-level zero inflation (i.

In this paper, we present community-anchored counterstorytelling as a form of epistemic justice. We-the Miya Community Research Collective-engage in counterstorytelling as a means of resisting and disrupting dehumanization of Miya communities in Northeast India. Miya communities have a long history of dispossession and struggle - from forced displacement by British colonial rulers in the early 19th century to the present where they face imminent threats of statelessness.

Although the most used measure of transformational leadership, the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ), has been the subject of intense scrutiny among leadership scholars, little interest has been shown in analyzing the relationship between its underlying constructs and / or their measures. The present study identifies a formative factor structure for most MLQ first-order factors, replacing the usual reflective model. We demonstrate the value of this structure using data from two different samples.

Objectives: Histatin 1(Hst 1) has been proved to promote wound healing. However, there was no specific study on the regulation made by Hst 1 of fibroblasts in the process of wound healing. This research comprehensively studied the regulation of Hst 1 on the function of fibroblasts in the process of wound healing and preliminary mechanism about it.

Study Design: Sub-study of a randomized controlled trial.
Objectives: To examine if hybrid cycling (cycling with the legs via electrical stimulation combined with voluntary handcycling) compared to handcycling leads to different systemic vascular adaptations in individuals with a long-term spinal cord injury (SCI).
Setting: Two rehabilitation centers in the Netherlands.

Unlabelled: Dendritic cells (DCs) are key in the initiation of the adaptive T cell responses to tailor adequate immunity that corresponds to the type of pathogen encountered. Oppositely, DCs control the resolution phase of inflammation and are able to induce tolerance after receiving anti-inflammatory cytokines or upon encounter of self-associated molecular patterns, such as α2-3 linked sialic acid (α2-3sia).
Objective: We here investigated whether α2-3sia, that bind immune inhibitory Siglec receptors, would alter signaling and reprogramming of LPS-stimulated human monocyte-derived DCs (moDCs).

Mutations in SHANK genes play an undisputed role in neuropsychiatric disorders. Until now, research has focused on the postsynaptic function of SHANKs, and prominent postsynaptic alterations in glutamatergic signal transmission have been reported in Shank KO mouse models. Recent studies have also suggested a possible presynaptic function of SHANK proteins, but these remain poorly defined.

The prevention of non-contact anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries often involves movement training, but the effectiveness of different motor learning methods has not been fully investigated. The purpose of this study was therefore to examine the effects of linear pedagogy (LP), nonlinear pedagogy (NLP) and differential learning (DL) motor learning methods on changing kinetic and kinematic factors during expected sidestep cutting related to non-contact ACL injuries. These methods primarily differ in the amount and type of movement variability they induce during practice.

Tetracycline antibiotics act by inhibiting bacterial protein translation. Given the bacterial ancestry of mitochondria, we tested the hypothesis that doxycycline-which belongs to the tetracycline class-reduces mitochondrial function, and results in cardiac contractile dysfunction in cultured H9C2 cardiomyoblasts, adult rat cardiomyocytes, in and in mice. Ampicillin and carbenicillin were used as control antibiotics since these do not interfere with mitochondrial translation.

: The role of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) alpha-synuclein as a potential biomarker has been challenged mainly due to variable preanalytical measures between laboratories. To evaluate the impact of the preanalytical factors contributing to such variability, the different subforms of alpha-synuclein need to be studied individually. : We investigated the effect of exposing CSF samples to several preanalytical sources of variability: (1) different polypropylene (PP) storage tubes; (2) use of non-ionic detergents; (3) multiple tube transfers; (4) multiple freeze-thaw cycles; and (5) delayed storage.

Unlabelled: Despite the high prevalence of comorbid depression in people living with coronary artery disease (CAD), uptake of psychological treatment is generally low. This study was designed to investigate the feasibility of an internet-based cognitive-behavioral (iCBT) depression intervention for people with CAD and depressive symptoms.
Methods: People with CAD and depressive symptoms (PHQ-9 ≥ 5) were randomly assigned to the eight modules comprising iCBT ( = 18), or waitlist-control ( = 16).

: In view of global ageing and the scarcity of knowledge about disease determinants in older individuals with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), an algorithm with optimal diagnostic accuracy was developed to identify RA patients in the Longitudinal Ageing Study Amsterdam (LASA).: Four case ascertainment algorithms were constructed and assessed for validity in LASA, an ongoing cohort study (≥ 55 years) representing the general older population of the Netherlands. Data sources used to identify the diagnosis RA were: self-reported morbidity, specialist diagnosis, and medication.

Motion capture systems are used in the analysis and interpretation of athlete movement patterns for a variety of reasons, but data integrity remains critical regardless. The extent to which marker location or constraining degrees of freedom (DOF) in the biomechanical model impacts on this integrity lacks consensus. Ten elite academy footballers performed bilateral overhead squats using a marker-based motion capture system.
