Male infertility is a complex and multifactorial clinical condition affecting a large population attributed to several factors, including perturbation in oxidative stress and the level of essential trace elements. Oxidative stress exerts multiple issues related to reproductive health, including male infertility, decreased sperm motility, sperm DNA damage, and an increased susceptibility to genetic disorders. Besides chemical toxins and food allergens in junk food items, many drugs can also lead to male infertility.

Mercury is a highly toxic metal that causes a variety of neurological disorders through oxidative stress. Allium sativum, a cooking spice in diverse cultures around the world, has a long history of medicinal use due to its rich antioxidant constituents. This study was designed to evaluate the protective activity of aqueous Allium sativum bulb extract (ASBE) on mercuric chloride (HgCl)-induced neurotoxicity.

Background: Misusing alcohol can cause damage to different tissues in the body, resulting in conditions like alcoholic liver disease, pancreatitis, cardiomyopathy, neurotoxicity, muscle wasting, weakened immune system, hormonal disruptions, birth defects, and bone loss. The objective of this research was to evaluate how alcohol affects the exocrine pancreas histology and the levels of amylase in the blood serum. Additionally, it aimed to explore whether vitamin E provides a safeguard against alcohol-induced harm to the pancreas in rabbits.

Background: Alcohol consumption can have detrimental effects on the liver, as it plays a crucial role in processing and detoxifying substances in the body, including alcohol. Alcohol has the potential to hinder the liver's capacity, which results in a variety of metabolic imbalances and deficiencies. This research aimed to investigate alterations in the liver tissue due to alcohol administered orally, along with exploring the potential protective effects of vitamin E against these alterations.

Docosahexaenoate is a cytoprotective ω-3 polyunsaturated lipid that is abundant in the retina and is essential for its function. Due to its six unsaturated double bonds, docosahexaenoate is highly susceptible to oxidation and the formation of products with photosensitizing properties. This study aimed to test on cultured human retinal pigment epithelial cells ARPE-19 the (photo)cytotoxic potential of partly oxidized docosahexaenoate and its effect on the formation of lipofuscin from phagocytosed photoreceptor outer segments (POSs).

Objective: Moisturizers are integral to daily skincare routines, reflecting the increasing trend among people towards cosmetic products, particularly for skin care. They significantly contribute to preserving skin health, particularly by regulating the epidermal barrier and moisture levels within the skin. This study aims to explore the moisturizing and antioxidant effect of skin barrier restoring cream Moiz MM (MZ) with shea butter, silkflo and vitamin E by investigating its protective effect against oxidative stress-induced cellular damage and therapeutic mechanisms in human keratinocytes cells (HaCaT).

Glyphosate, a commonly used herbicide, has been associated with environmental pollution and potential health risks to aquatic organisms. This study investigated the effects of glyphosate on the muscle metabolism of grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idellus) following exposure to environmentally relevant concentrations. Over a 14-day exposure period to varying glyphosate levels, significant disruptions were observed in antioxidant capacity and muscle health.

Background: Everolimus is a drug approved for the treatment of breast cancer with HR+ and advanced breast cancer reoccurring in postmenopausal women. The oral administration of EVE has been observed to have low oral bioavailability and severe epithelial cutaneous events that include rashes and lip ulceration followed by mouth ulceration after oral administration.
Aim: The present research aimed to enhance the bioavailability by loading the EVE into a stealth liposomal formulation (S-EVE-LIPO) intended for intravenous administration.
