The recommendations for vaccination in pediatric autoimmune and inflammatory diseases were initially given by European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology (EULAR) in the year 2011. In the past decade, recommendations were updated for adults in 2019. EULAR/ Pediatric Rheumatology European Society (PRES) has now published the updated recommendations based on the increased level of evidence on safety, efficacy and immunogenicity of vaccines.

Introduction: In most cases, the volar plate interposition renders the complex metacarpophalangeal joint dislocation, commonly known as Kaplan's lesion, intractable, necessitating open reduction. The capsuloligamentous attachments around the joint and the head of the metacarpal are buttonholed in this dislocation, limiting closed reduction.
