Background: Indocyanine green imaging (ICG) is an expansion technology that can contribute to the development of demanding techniques such as cortical-sparing adrenalectomy (CSA). The aim of this study was to determine in which cases CSA should be performed and when total adrenalectomy should be performed instead based on ICG fluorescence. Here, we present our experience through a series of cases and videos.

In this study, we identified a novel dual role for peripheral and tissue-resident Vδ1 T cells within the gastrointestinal mucosa of virally suppressed people with HIV. Phenotypic analyses identified an increased frequency of highly differentiated, cytotoxic effector Vδ1 T cells that exerted potent inhibition of HIV-1 replication coinciding with direct increases in cytolytic function.

The evaluation of the peripheral muscles can be carried out through the assessment of their structural components from ultrasound images or their functional components through isometric and isotonic strength tests. This evaluation, performed mainly on the quadriceps muscle, is not only of great interest for diagnosis, prognosis and monitoring of COPD, but also for the evaluation of the benefits of therapeutic interventions.

While many studies have assessed the memory impacts of individual conditions, this study considers a broader perspective by evaluating how memory recall is differentially associated with nine common neuropsychiatric conditions using data drawn from 55 international studies, aggregating 15,883 unique participants aged 15-90.
