Mesenchymal stem cell (MSC)-derived exosomes (EXs) have emerged as promising therapeutic agents for wound healing. However, the optimal conditions for manufacturing MSC-derived EXs that maximize their wound-healing potential have yet to be established. Hence, we compared the efficacy of five different MSC culture media, including three different serum-free, a platelet-supplemented, and a fetal bovine serum-supplemented media, in exosome manufacturing for wound healing applications.

Li-Fraumeni syndrome (LFS) is a hereditary disorder characterized by an increased risk of developing multiple early-onset cancers, primarily due to germline mutations. Women and men with this mutation face lifetime cancer risks of 90% and 70%, respectively. This report describes the first documented case of LFS with clinical information in Vietnam involving a 9-year-old child diagnosed with osteosarcoma who had multiple first- and second-degree relatives with cancer.

Background: Recently, cold atmospheric plasma (CAP), as well as adipose mesenchymal stem cells derived exosomes (ADMSCs-EX), have been applied separately to wound healing treatment. However, no study has investigated the additive effect on the healing mechanism of these two methods in the same skin lesion treatment model.
Aim: We conduct this study to describe the results of using CAP and human ADMSCs-EX on in vitro wound healing.

Fluorescence nanosilica-based cell tracker has been explored and applied in cell biological research. However, the aggregation of these nanoparticles at physiological pH is still the main limitation. In this research, we introduced a novel fluorescence nano-based cell tracker suitable for application in live cells.

Inflammation conditions are associated with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and cerebral palsy (CP), primarily observed in the peripheral immune system. However, the extent of neuro-inflammation and neuro-immune dysregulation remains poorly studied. In this study, we analyzed the composition of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) to uncover the inflammatory mediators driving the neuro-immune system in ASD and CP patients.

Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is the most common type of lung cancer, accounting for 80%-85% of total cases and leading to millions of deaths worldwide. Drug resistance is the primary cause of treatment failure in NSCLC, which urges scientists to develop advanced approaches for NSCLC treatment. Among novel approaches, the miRNA-based method has emerged as a potential approach as it allows researchers to modulate target gene expression.

Clinical evaluation of the genetic testing strategy is essential for ensuring the correct determination of mutation carriers. The current study retrospectively analyzed genetic and clinicopathological data from 62 Vietnamese patients with retinoblastoma (RB) referred to the Vinmec Hi-Tech Center for RB transcriptional corepressor 1 () genetic testing between 2017 and 2019. The present study aimed to evaluate the sensitivity of the Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) method to identify novel mutations, and to consider using age at diagnosis as a risk factor.

Background: Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) is a severe condition in premature infants that compromises lung function and necessitates oxygen support. Despite major improvements in perinatal care minimizing the devastating effects, BPD remains the most frequent complication of extreme preterm birth. Our study reports the safety of the allogeneic administration of umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem/stromal cells (allo-UC-MSCs) and the progression of lung development in four infants with established BPD.
