Environmental degradation is one of the most significant issues that developing nations confront and needs to be resolved right away in order for them to achieve sustainable development. Government policies are crucial in this situation since emerging nations frequently struggle with the issue of policy ambiguity, which can result in environmental deterioration. In this context, this study investigates how policy uncertainty affects environmental degradation in the five fragile emerging economies known as the Fragile Five-Brazil, India, Indonesia, South Africa, and Turkey.

Droplet-based microfluidics offer great opportunities for applications in various fields, such as diagnostics, food sciences, and drug discovery. A droplet provides an isolated environment for performing a single reaction within a microscale-volume sample, allowing for a fast reaction with a high sensitivity, high throughput, and low risk of cross-contamination. Owing to several remarkable features, droplet-based microfluidic techniques have been intensively studied.

2-Methylquinazolin-4(3)-one was prepared by the reaction of anthranilic acid, acetic anhydride, and ammonium acetate. The reaction of 2-methylquinazolin-4(3)-one with -aryl-2-chloroacetamides in acetone in the presence of potassium carbonate gave nine -aryl-2-(2-methyl-4-oxoquinazolin-3(4)-yl)acetamide compounds. The structures of these compounds were elucidated on the basis of their IR, H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), C NMR, and high-resolution mass spectrometry (HR-MS) spectral data.

Diet plays a crucial role in maintaining animal health, productivity, and reproductive performance. Among dietary elements, antioxidants from herbal essential oils are particularly important for stimulating growth performance, reproduction, and immune competence in animal production, especially while their replacement with synthetic antioxidants has no adverse side effects. Recent developments in nanotechnology have improved essential oils' absorption while protecting their bio-compounds.

Antioxidant enzymes such as catalase, superoxide dismutase, and glutathione peroxidase play important roles in the inhibition of oxidative-damage-related pathological diseases. However, natural antioxidant enzymes face some limitations, including low stability, high cost, and less flexibility. Recently, antioxidant nanozymes have emerged as promising materials to replace natural antioxidant enzymes for their stability, cost savings, and flexible design.

In 1967, the very first case of the Marburgvirus disease (MVD) was detected in Germany and Serbia sequentially. Since then, MVD has been considered one of the most serious and deadly infectious diseases in the world with a case-fatality rate between 23% and 90% and a substantial number of recorded deaths. Marburgvirus belongs to the family of Filoviridae (filoviruses), which causes severe viral hemorrhagic fever (VHF).
