Gravity may exert species-specific effects on quadrupedal vasoreactivity, reflecting variations in the vertical displacement of the cardiocranial axis from the dorsal plane. Deer show markedly displaced cardiocranial axes compared to their closest phylogenetic relatives, but their relative cerebrovascular responses remain unelucidated. Accordingly, we investigated the responses to noradrenaline (NA), acetylcholine (ACh), 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT), histamine, angiotensin (Ang) II, and bradykinin (BK) in cervine basilar arterial rings.

Current strategies to promptly, effectively, and equitably screen people with tuberculosis (TB) and link them to diagnosis and care are insufficient; new approaches are required to find the millions of people around the world with TB who are missed each year. NSE protein detection in a microfluidic channel integrated an electrochemical biosensor.

This study proposed a microfluidic chip for the detection and quantification of NSE proteins, aimed at developing a rapid point-of-care testing system for early lung cancer diagnosis. Leprosy is a chronic disease of the skin and peripheral nerves caused by Mycobacterium leprae. A major public health and clinical problem are leprosy reactions, which are inflammatory episodes that often contribute to nerve damage and disability. Type I reversal reactions (T1R) can occur after microbiological cure of leprosy and affect up to 50% of leprosy patients.

Pattern of Uveitis in Northern Vietnam.

Purpose: To characterize the spectrum of uveitis in patients visiting three tertiary hospitals in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The kinetics of a light irradiation enhanced room temperature NO gas sensor using hybrid ZnO/ZnTe nanorod structures.

This study focuses on fabricating a hybrid structure consisting of ZnO nanorods and ZnTe nanoparticles for NO gas detection, particularly exploring the impact of light irradiation at room temperature (RT). The morphology, physical characteristics, and chemical properties of the ZnO/ZnTe hybrid structure are carefully studied under diverse analytical methods such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and other measurements. Objective: This research explores the extent to which the soil microorganisms as well as soil physical and chemical properties of these raised beds degrade over a period of 60 years under traditional management practices.
