Background: Colorectal carcinoma (CRC) is one of the common carcinomas with a rising incidence of metastasis due to its advanced stage of presentation. The existing biomarkers such as CEA (Carcinoembryonic antigen) etc., for prognosis, have low sensitivity and specificity.

Indian consensus on gastroesophageal reflux disease in adults: A position statement of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology.

The Indian Society of Gastroenterology developed this evidence-based practice guideline for management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in adults. A modified Delphi process was used to develop this consensus containing 58 statements, which were generated by electronic voting iteration as well as face-to-face meeting and review of the supporting literature primarily from India. These statements include 10 on epidemiology, 8 on clinical presentation, 10 on investigations, 23 on treatment (including medical, endoscopic, and surgical modalities), and 7 on complications of GERD.

Clinical-radiological-pathological correlation of cavernous sinus hemangioma: Incremental value of diffusion-weighted imaging.

Aim: To elucidate the clinical, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), pathological features of these lesions and asses the incremental value of diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) in diagnosing them.

Methods: Fifteen consecutive patients (11 females and 4 males; mean age 40.93 years; age range 13-63 years) with cavernous sinus hemangiomas (CSH) who underwent examination between November 2008 and May 2016 were included for the analysis.

Acute multifocal neuropathy following cocaine inhalation.

Introduction: We report a young man, not a habitual cocaine user, who developed an acute multifocal neuropathy following a second exposure to inhaled cocaine.

Methods: Case report.

Results: Clinical and electrophysiological findings suggested an acute multiple mononeuropathy following cocaine exposure.

Endovascular reconstruction of popliteal and infrapopliteal arteries for limb salvage and wound healing in patients with critical limb ischemia - A retrospective analysis.

Background: Advancement in endovascular techniques has led to rapid growth in endovascular revascularization, and it has emerged as a treatment for critical limb ischemia (CLI). Clinical effectiveness of revascularization has been frequently judged by vessel patency and limb salvage, but there is paucity of reports on outcomes of the wound. We present a retrospective analysis of immediate angiographic and 3-month clinical outcome of patients who underwent endovascular reconstruction of popliteal and infrapopliteal arteries for CLI.

Comparative Evaluation of Dimensional Accuracy of Elastomeric Impression Materials when Treated with Autoclave, Microwave, and Chemical Disinfection.

Background: Impression materials during impression procedure often get infected with various infectious diseases. Hence, disinfection of impression materials with various disinfectants is advised to protect the dental team. Disinfection can alter the dimensional accuracy of impression materials.

Intraocular lens implantation in eyes with Fuchs' heterochromic iridocyclitis.

Purpose: To evaluate the results of cataract surgery with intraocular lens (IOL) implantation in eyes with Fuchs' heterochromic iridocyclitis.

Setting: Saint-Victor Hospital, Amiens, France.

Methods: We reviewed the charts of 93 patients (94 eyes) with heterochromic iridocyclitis who had cataract extraction and IOL implantation by the same surgeon.
