Objective: Aim: The objective of this literature review was to determine the optimal diagnostic algorithm for breast cancer detection associated with architectural distortion.

Patients And Methods: Materials and Methods: The Pubmed, Google Scholar, Web of Science, and Scopus databases was used to search for materials on architectural distortion, associated pathologies, and radiological imaging methods.

Conclusion: Conclusions: Architectural distortions may represent both benign and malignant pathology, but ultrasound, magnetic resonance, and roentgenological signs may not always with conf i dence determine the etiology of these changes.

Background: Papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) is the most common type of well-differentiated thyroid cancer accounting for up to 80% of all thyroid neoplasms. Metastases to the regional lymph nodes (RLN) of the neck are a feature of its biological aggressiveness. The presence of psammoma bodies may be considered a pathomorphological feature of PTC in addition to the papillary structure of tumor and specific nuclear changes.

According to the published series, there are only 15 cases reported with such kind of injury to the larynx. Introduction: Russo-Ukrainian war is associated with application of high-energy weapon, causing severe multifragmental injuries to the bones an associating with severe bone defects. The aim of the study was to evaluate various methods to treat combat patients with severe defects of humerus and to demonstrate the experience of orthopedic war surgeons in managing gunshot injuries to the humerus defects in the ongoing war.

Breast cancer might be complicated by distant metastases accompanied by hypercalcemia, but hyperparathyroidism is not commonly considered in the differential diagnosis. We present a case of 38 years old female patient who was diagnosed with ductal breast carcinoma. Eight months after the initial diagnosis the patient was diagnosed with distant bone metastases.

Background: A detection of parathyroid glands by the evaluation of their autofluorescence in the near-infrared spectrum is considered as a promising tool in addition to their visual verification. The aim of this study was to evaluate the role of near-infrared autofluorescence application by using two different image-based systems for the identification of parathyroid glands during surgery of thyroid and parathyroid benign and malignant lesions.

Methods: Evaluation of near-infrared autofluorescence was performed in 15 patients by using two different image-based systems equipped with a near-infrared laser camera.
