This publication is derived from and rooted in the authors' experience in designing the Health Support of a remote industrial site. Summarizing the main steps of this design is the purpose of the approach. As a first step devoted to "Evaluation" (Chapters 1-5) are displayed the fundamentals for designing a Project Health Plan, such as a realistic and operative definition of "patient stabilization" and the principles of tactical reasoning for Medevacs, specifying how pathophysiology and logistic constraints should be correlated.

Introduction: Although the survival rate after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) has increased over time, little is known about the return to work of OHCA survivors. We aim to evaluate prevalence and factors associated with return to work (RTW) in OHCA survivors.
Patients And Methods: All consecutive OHCA survivors aged 18-65 years and discharged alive from a Paris tertiary intensive care unit between 2000 and 2013 were included.

In massive catastrophic events, occupational health practitioners are more and more frequently involved in the management of such situations. We aim to describe the multiple aspects of the role that occupational health practitioners might play, by focusing on the recent example of the Paris terrorist attack of November 2015. During and after the Paris attack, occupational practitioners, in collaboration with emergency and security professionals, were involved in psychological care, assembling information, follow-up, return-to-work, and improving in-company safety plans.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to describe the characteristics of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) in different workplaces, their management, and the survival rate.
Methods: A post hoc analysis included all the OHCA cases that occurred at the workplace and were listed in the Fire Brigade of Paris database registry (2010 to 2014). Utstein-style variables, survival, and types of workplace were analyzed.

Introduction: In the context of delayed retirement age, we aimed to study the association between a score for global evaluation of perceived physical strain (PPS) at work and limitations after retirement in the GAZEL cohort.
Methods: At baseline in 1989 and every year since then, the PPS question, 'Do you find that your work is physically strenuous?' was used as a proxy measure of general occupational physical exertion or load; it was coded into a score, and divided into four categories for men and three for women. The self-report question about limitations was asked in 1989 and 2012 (difficulties performing some daily life activities).

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is associated with a high prevalence of cerebrovascular disorders such as stroke, white matter diseases, intracerebral microbleeds and cognitive impairment. This situation has been observed not only in end-stage renal disease patients but also in patients with mild or moderate CKD. The occurrence of cerebrovascular disorders may be linked to the presence of traditional and non-traditional cardiovascular risk factors in CKD.

Introduction: Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) in the workplace appears to be managed more effectively than OHCA occurring in other places. A systematic review and meta-analysis of the available epidemiological data was performed, comparing the rate of survival for OHCA in the workplace, versus survival in other locations.
Methods: Four databases (Pub-Med, Scopus, Web of science, "Base de Données de Santé Publique", BDSP, i.
