Research Question: How do different warning indicators help to identify disabling dysmenorrhoea among women in young adulthood?
Design: A nationwide cross-sectional study of women aged 18-25 years from the CONSTANCES cohort was constructed. Disability was assessed with the Global Activity Limitation Indicator question 'For the past 6 months, have you been limited in routine activities?Yes, severely limited/Yes, limited/ No, not limited'. Dysmenorrhoea pain intensity and other chronic pelvic pain symptoms (dyspareunia and non-menstrual pain) were evaluated according to questions from a specific questionnaire.

Background: It is likely that the pathophysiology of urinary incontinence (UI) differs between women who are incontinent before the first delivery and those whose incontinence occurs after. In this systematic review, we aimed to assess the association between the mode of delivery and the risk of postpartum UI in primiparous women with and without prenatal UI.
Methods: We searched MEDLINE, Cochrane, Web of Science, Embase and CINHAL databases.

Glucose homeostasis is a real challenge for extremely preterm infants (EPIs) who have both limited substrate availability and immature glucose metabolism regulation. In the first days of life, EPIs frequently develop transient glucose intolerance, which has a complex pathophysiology that associates unregulated gluconeogenesis, immature insulin secretion, and peripheral insulin resistance. In this population, glucocorticoid therapy is frequently administrated to prevent severe bronchopulmonary dysplasia.

Objective: The objective of our study was to analyze quality of life (QOL) in an e-cohort of patients treated for breast cancer (BC) by endocrine therapy (ET), by means of validated quality of life questionnaires.
Study Design And Setting: A retrospective, observational, e-cohort study was conducted (Seintinelles platform). Female patients treated for nonmetastatic and nonrecurrent BC, treated in France after 2005, filled in online questionnaires concerning: QOL (QLQ-C30 and QLQ-BR23), tolerability of treatment and demographic characteristics.

Introduction: The Endometriosis Fertility Index (EFI) is a validated score for predicting the postoperative spontaneous pregnancy rate in patients undergoing endometriosis surgery. However, the practical use of the EFI to advise patients about postoperative fertility management is unclear.
Materials And Methods: All patients participating in the ENDOQUAL study-a prospective observational bi-center cohort study conducted between 01/2012 and 06/2018-who underwent surgery for infertility were asked to complete a questionnaire collecting time and mode of conception.

Background: Prolonged pregnancies are a frequent indication for induction of labour. When the cervix is unfavourable, cervical ripening before oxytocin administration is recommended to increase the likelihood of vaginal delivery, but no particular method is currently recommended for cervical ripening of prolonged pregnancies. This trial evaluates whether the use of mechanical cervical ripening with a silicone double balloon catheter for induction of labour in prolonged pregnancies reduces the cesarean section rate for nonreassuring fetal status compared with pharmacological cervical ripening by a vaginal pessary for the slow release of dinoprostone (prostaglandin E2).

Aims: We aimed to assess the value of the Valsalva urethral profile (VUP) in case of stress urinary incontinence (SUI).
Methods: Six hundred and ninety-four women without pelvic organ prolapse were included in this prospective monocentric study. SUI was diagnosed from symptoms using the International Continence Society definition, and severity using two validated questionnaires (USP and ICIQ-SF).

: Although local definitive radiotherapy (RT) is considered the standard of care for solitary plasmacytoma (SP), the optimal RT parameters for SP patients have not been defined. The aim of this retrospective study is to analyze the effectiveness of various RT doses, volumes, and techniques, as well as to define the relevant prognostic factors in SP. : Between 2000 and 2019, 84 patients, including 54 with solitary bone plasmacytoma (SBP) and 30 with extramedullary plasmacytoma (EMP), underwent RT at six institutions.

Objectives: At the time of controversies on surgical treatment of pelvic organ prolapse, our aim was to describe an effective technique of hysterocolpectomy with colpocleisis for elderly patients not wishing to maintain vaginal sexual activity and present mid-term results including pelvic floor symptoms and quality of life, patient satisfaction and surgical complications using validated scores.
Study Design: We conducted a retrospective study of all patients having undergone this surgery between June 2006 and June 2016. Women were examined using POP-Q classification and completed validated questionnaires concerning symptoms and quality of life before and after the surgery.

This publication is derived from and rooted in the authors' experience in designing the Health Support of a remote industrial site. Summarizing the main steps of this design is the purpose of the approach. As a first step devoted to "Evaluation" (Chapters 1-5) are displayed the fundamentals for designing a Project Health Plan, such as a realistic and operative definition of "patient stabilization" and the principles of tactical reasoning for Medevacs, specifying how pathophysiology and logistic constraints should be correlated.

Introduction: Motor nerve blocks with anesthetic drug for local anesthesia are commonly used in physical and rehabilitation medicine (PRM), especially in the field of spasticity. Guidelines in this context are currently lacking.
Method: Eighteen experts selected on the basis of their recognized experience by the scientific committees of the French PRM (SOFMER) and Anesthesia and Intensive care (SFAR) societies were invited to work and propose guidelines for the use of loco-regional anesthetic drug for motor nerve blocks in PRM setting.
