UV radiation is the main etiological agent of skin cancer. Other factors such as pollution, diet and lifestyle are also contributing factors. Pivotal trials have fixed a maximum ICI duration of 2 years, without a compelling rationale. A shorter treatment duration has the potential to improve patients' quality of life and reduce both toxicity and cost without compromising efficacy.

Methods: In 35,815 patients from the VISION cohort study and 9219 patients from the POISE-2 trial who were ≥45 yr old and underwent nonurgent inpatient noncardiac surgery, we examined (by age and sex) the association between continuous nonlinear preoperative estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and the composite of myocardial injury after noncardiac surgery, nonfatal cardiac arrest, or death owing to a cardiac cause within 30 days after surgery. We estimated contributions of predictive information, C-statistic, and net benefit from eGFR and other common patient and surgical characteristics to large multivariable models.

This study investigated the effects of the FIBROWALK in online (FIBRO-On) and outdoor (FIBRO-Out) formats compared to treatment-as-usual (TAU) on core clinical variables along with serum immune-inflammatory biomarkers and brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF). Introduction: Longitudinally extensive spinal cord lesions (LESCL) are characterized by T2-hyperintense signals spanning at least three vertebral body segments, with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSD) being a significant cause. This study aimed to characterize the clinical, radiological, serological, and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) features of LESCL and to compare NMOSD and non-NMOSD cases.
