Study Objective: A desire for curriculum standardization in obstetrics and gynecology residencies has been identified. No prior investigation of educational experiences in Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (FMIGS) programs has been completed. The purpose of this study was to determine the state of FMIGS didactic education and the perceptions that fellowship directors and fellows have regarding a standardized curriculum.

Background: Little is known about the very long-term outcome in Tetralogy of Fallot (ToF) patients.

Objectives: To prospectively evaluate clinical outcome and quality-of-life after surgical repair of ToF.

Methods: Single-centre, longitudinal cohort-study evaluating every decade 144 ToF patients who underwent surgical repair <15 years of age between 1968 and 1980.

Context: There are urgent calls to transition society to more sustainable trajectories, at scales ranging from local to global. Landscape sustainability (LS), or the capacity for landscapes to provide equitable access to ecosystem services essential for human wellbeing for both current and future generations, provides an operational approach to monitor these transitions. However, the complexity of landscapes complicates how and what to consider when assessing LS.

Outcomes in Catheter Ablation of Sustained Ventricular Tachycardia in Myocarditis Compared with Ischemic Heart Disease.

Background: The substrates for arrhythmias in myocarditis and ischemic heart disease (IHD) are different, but it is yet to be determined whether there is a difference in outcomes following catheter ablation (CA) for ventricular tachycardia (VT) associated with these two conditions. This study aimed to compare outcomes after CA of VT in patients with myocarditis versus those with IHD.

Methods: Patients undergoing CA for sustained VT confirmed by endomyocardial biopsy as myocarditis, and patients with IHD experiencing sustained VT undergoing CA were retrospectively enrolled from February 2017 to March 2023.

Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy Presenting With VT Electrical Storm.

Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC) is a right ventricular disease caused by desmosomal gene mutations leading to fibro-fatty replacement of the myocardium causing ventricular arrhythmias such as ventricular tachycardia (VT). A 59-year-old female presented with new onset VT manifesting as shortness of breath and chest discomfort. Diagnostic workup revealed right ventricular dilation/dysfunction on echocardiogram, VT with left bundle branch block (LBBB) and diffuse T wave inversions (TWIs) on EKG.

Syncope secondary to arrhythmogenic left ventricular cardiomyopathy: a case report.

Background: Arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy (ACM) is an inherited cardiac disease characterized by fibrofatty replacement of ventricular myocardium. Ventricular arrhythmia and sudden cardiac death (SCD) are the main clinical manifestations. ACM was previously called arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy/dysplasia (ARVC/D).

Cardiac Tamponade Due to Right Ventricle Perforation: A Rare Complication of Catheter Ablation for Ventricular Tachycardia Storm.

Cardiac tamponade is a rare but fatal complication of catheter ablation. We are reporting a case of a 73-year-old male with ventricular tachycardia (VT) storm undergoing urgent VT ablation, who was later found to have right ventricle (RV) perforation-an unusual site for catheter ablation complication. The patient underwent isochronal late activation mapping (ILAM)-based ablation and elimination of local abnormal ventricular activities (LAVA).

A retrospective 'target trial emulation' comparing amiodarone and lidocaine for adult out-of-hospital cardiac arrest resuscitation.

Objective: The administration of amiodarone or lidocaine is recommended during the resuscitation of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) patients presenting with defibrillation-refractory or recurrent ventricular fibrillation or ventricular tachycardia. Our objective was to use 'target trial emulation' methodology to compare the outcomes of patients who received amiodarone or lidocaine during resuscitation.

Methods: Adult, non-traumatic OHCA patients in the ESO Data Collaborative 2018-2023 datasets who experienced OHCA prior to EMS arrival, presented with a shockable rhythm, and received amiodarone or lidocaine during resuscitation were evaluated for inclusion.

Estimating Total-Tract Digestibility of Nutrients and Their Contribution to Digestible Energy Supplies in Equine Diets.

Our objectives were to use a quantitative literature review to explore dietary and feed factors influencing apparent total-tract digestibility of dry matter (DMD), crude protein (CPD), neutral detergent fiber (NDFD), ether extract (EED), non-structural carbohydrates (NSCD), non-fiber carbohydrates (NFCD), and residual organic matter (rOMD) in equine diets, and to assess their contributions to digestible energy (DE) supplies. Data from 54 studies were modeled using linear mixed-effect regressions, with publication as a random effect to account for study variability. For each nutrient, five models were derived with explanatory variables including: dry matter intake (DMI; % BW/day) and DM (% as-fed), and dietary components (CP, organic matter, EE, NDF, acid detergent fiber, NSC, starch, and NFC as % of DM), and feed types (forage, non-forage fiber, legumes, cereal, and oil proportions).

Electronic absorption and H NMR spectra manifested the reversible isomerization of the rotor between the configuration and the configuration.

Recovery Analysis of Sequentially Irradiated and NBT-Stressed VDMOS Transistors.

This study investigates the effects of negative bias temperature (NBT) stress and irradiation on the threshold voltage () of p-channel VDMOS transistors, focusing on degradation, recovery after each type of stress, and operational behavior under varying conditions. Shifts in (Δ) were analyzed under different stress orders, showing distinct influence mechanisms, including defects creation and their removal and electrochemical reactions. Recovery data after each type of stress indicated ongoing electrochemical processes, influencing subsequent stress responses.

The COVID-19 pandemic, with its increased hospitalization rates and antibiotic use, may have further influenced MRSA's genetic evolution and epidemiology in the country.

Data integration and analysis are critical for advancing the dairy industry, enabling better decision-making, and improving operational efficiencies. This commentary paper discusses the challenges of and proposes pathways for standardizing data generation and collection based on insights from a multidisciplinary group of stakeholders.

Mechanical power (MP) refers to ventilator-delivered energy to the lungs, which may induce lung injury. We examined the relationship between MP and mortality in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) who underwent prone positioning. This multicenter retrospective study included data on all patients admitted to the intensive care units of eight referral hospitals in Taiwan from October 2015 to March 2016, and in Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Linkou branch from January 2017 to October 2023.
