[Comparative study on the enteral and parenteral nutrition during early postburn stage in burn patients].

Objective: To investigate the influence of early enteral nutrition on the nutritional indices of the burn patients.

Methods: Thirty-seven burn patients were enrolled in the study and were randomly divided into early enteral nutrition (EN) and parenteral nutrition (PN) groups. The body weight, serum levels of prealbumin and transferrin, the incidence of burn sepsis, and the hospital stay days were surveyed respectively and compared between these two groups.

Aim: To characterize the chromosomal location of AD7C-NTP gene and predict the transmembrane domains and sub-cellular location of its deduced protein.

Methods: The AD7C-NTP mRNA sequence was alignmented with human genomic DNA sequence by Blat server. The transmembrane domains and sub-cellular location of AD7C-NTP protein were predicted by using PHDhtm, TMHMM2.

[Expression of P62 in gallbladder carcinoma tissues and its correlation with angiogenesis].

Aim: To detect the expressions of P62 and bFGF in human gallbladder carcinoma tissues and microvessel density(MVD) inside tumor, explore their correlation with each other, and their relationship with tumor's clinical pathological properties.

Methods: The expressions of P62 and bFGF in 41 cases of human gallbladder carcinoma tissues and 22 cases of chronic cholecystitis tissues were detected by SP immunohistochemical staining. The MVD was examined by SP immunohistochemical staining with anti CD34 mAb.

Oral mucosal conditions and some related factors in 140 Uygur centenarians.

Objective: To investigate the condition of the oral mucosae in Xinjiang Uygur centenarians and explore some related factors.

Methods: The oral mucosae and mucosal exfoliative cells of 140 Xinjiang Uygur centenarians were examined. Saliva and blood were collected from some centenarians.
