PdPtRu trimetallic nanozymes and application to electrochemical immunosensor for sensitive SARS-COV-2 antigen detection.

Herein, a ternary PdPtRu nanodendrite as novel trimetallic nanozyme was reported, which possessed excellent peroxidase-like activity as well as electro-catalytic activity on account of the synergistic effect between the three metals. Based on the excellent electro-catalytic activity of trimetallic PdPtRu nanozyme toward the reduction of HO, the trimetallic nanozyme was applied to construct a brief electrochemical immunosensor for SARS-COV-2 antigen detection. Concretely, trimetallic PdPtRu nanodendrite was used to modify electrode surface, which not only generated high reduction current of HO for signal amplification, but also provided massive active sites for capture antibody (Ab) immobilization to construct immunosensor.

Objective: Insomnia is the most common sleep disorder and is often comorbid with mental and physical diseases. The present study was designed to investigate the hypnotic effect of electroacupuncture (EA) of the cymba concha to stimulate the auricular branch of the vagus nerve (ABVN).

Methods: Mice were intraperitoneally injected with p-chlorophenylalanine (PCPA, 300 mg/kg·d) for 2 days to induce insomnia and subsequently received EA or manual acupuncture (MA) of the cymba concha for 30 min once daily for 5 consecutive days, or no treatment.

Urine and double-J stent samples of patients were collected for pathogen identification and drug sensitivity test.

Background: Although nosocomial infection is one of the most discussed problems in patients undergoing artificial liver support system (ALSS) treatment, only few solutions have been proposed so far. This study aimed to explore the risk factors of nosocomial infection in patients treated with ALSS in order to aid in the development of future preventive measures.

Methods: This retrospective case-control study included patients treated with ALSS at the Department of Infectious Diseases, First Affiliated Hospital of xxx Medical University between January 2016 and December 2021.

Methods: The experimental group consisted of susceptible adolescent mice exposed to chronic social defeat stress (CSDS), and sucrose preference test (SPT) and open field test (OFT) were performed to evaluate their depression-like behaviors. BDEs were extracted by ultracentrifugation (UC).

Objective: To investigate the changes in serum inflammatory cytokines and the predictive factors for the efficacy of sertraline following medication therapy in adolescents with first-episode major depressive disorder (MDD).

Methods: A total of 61 adolescent patients with first-episode drug-naïve MDD were enrolled for the MDD group and 55 healthy adolescents were enrolled for the healthy control (HC) group. Sertraline tablets were administered to the MDD group for 8 weeks after enrollment, while no medication was given to the HC group.

Antenatal corticosteroid administration-to-birth interval and neonatal outcomes in very preterm infants: A secondary analysis based on a prospective cohort study.

Introduction: Despite the prevalent use of antenatal corticosteroids (ACS) to prevent preterm infants' adverse neonatal complications, there is currently no consensus on administration-to-birth intervals of ACS. International guidelines broadly agree that the administration of antenatal corticosteroids should be within 7 days prior to preterm birth. However, there is little evidence to support narrower optimal ACS administration-to-birth interval time.

This study aimed to explore the factors impacting the LOS of inpatients with type-2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and develop a predictive model for the early identification of inpatients with prolonged LOS.
