Background: Rosacea is a chronic facial disease that may lead to feelings of stigmatization, which can negatively impact psychological and social well-being.
Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate different aspects of rosacea that could contribute to feelings of stigmatization.
Methods: An online survey of a representative sample of the adult population in the UK, France, Germany and US was conducted to identify patients with rosacea based on presence of three or more clinical features.

Introduction: Atrophic scarring occurs throughout the course of inflammatory acne and across the spectrum of severity. This study evaluates perceptions of the general population toward individuals with clear skin and acne scars.
Methods: An online survey administered in the USA, UK, Japan, Germany, France and Brazil to respondents 18 years and over presented three facial pictures of clear skin or digitally superimposed acne scars (but no active acne lesions) in a random fashion.

Background: Few global acne grading systems include individualized assessments of chest and back as well as face. The Leeds revised acne grading system is based on photographic images while the Comprehensive Acne Severity Scale (CASS) is based on textual descriptions. Acne is a common disorder affecting the majority of adolescents and often extends into adulthood. The central pathophysiological feature of acne is increased androgenic stimulation and/or end-organ sensitivity of pilosebaceous units leading to sebum hypersecretion and infundibular hyperkeratinization. These events lead to Propionibacterium acnes proliferation and subsequent inflammation.
