In this article, we have suggested a new improved estimator for estimation of finite population variance under simple random sampling. We use two auxiliary variables to improve the efficiency of estimator. The numerical expressions for the bias and mean square error are derived up to the first order approximation.

Glycogen storage disease type I (GSD I) is a rare autosomal recessive inborn error of carbohydrate metabolism caused by the defects of glucose-6-phosphatase complex (G6PC). Disease causing variants in the G6PC gene, located on chromosome 17q21 result in glycogen storage disease type Ia (GSD Ia). Age of onset of GSD Ia ranges from 0.

In this era, renewable energy technologies are suitable to meet the challenges of fossil fuel depletion and global warming. Thus, hydrogen is gaining attention as an alternative clean energy carrier that can be produced from various methods, one of them is the iodine-sulfur (I-S) cycle which is a thermochemical process. The I-S cycle requires a material that can withstand an extremely corrosive environment at high temperatures.

Ficus pandurata Hance (FPH) holds a rich history as a traditional Chinese botanical remedy, utilized both as a culinary condiment and a medicinal intervention for diverse ailments. This study focuses on enhancing FPH's therapeutic potential by subjecting it to exogenous methyl jasmonate (MeJA) treatment, a strategy aimed at elevating the levels of active constituents to align with clinical and commercial requirements. Employing metabolomics, the impact of MeJA treatment on the lipid and flavonoid profiles of FPH leaves was investigated, revealing a marked increase in flavone glycosides, a subset of flavonoids.

The impact of activation energy in chemical processes, heat radiations, and temperature gradients on non-Darcian steady MHD convective Casson nanofluid flows (NMHD-CCNF) over a radial elongated circular cylinder is investigated in this study. The network of partial differential equations (PDEs) for NMHD-CCNF is developed using the modified Buongiorno framework, and the network of controlling PDEs is then transformed into ordinary differential equations (ODEs) utilizing the Von Karman method. Finally, the resulting non-linear ODEs are computed using the ND-solve approach to produce sets of data to assess the proposed model's skills, which can then be handled using the Bayesian Regularization technique of artificial neural networks (BRT-ANN).

In social surveys, the randomized response technique can be considered a popular method for collecting reliable information on sensitive variables. Over the past few decades, it has been a common practice that survey researchers develop new randomized response techniques and show their improvement over previous models. In majority of the available research studies, the authors tend to report only those findings which are favorable to their proposed models.

This article aims to suggest a new generalized class of estimators based on probability proportional to size sampling using two auxiliary variables. The numerical expressions for the bias and mean squared error (MSE) are derived up to the first order of approximation. Four actual data sets are used to examine the performances of a new improved generalized class of estimators.

We in this manuscript analyzed the magnetorotational instability (MRI) by using a multi-component quantum fluid model with the effect of spin magnetization in a differentially rotating degenerate electron-positron-ion (e-p-i) quantum plasma. The electrons and positron having the same mass but opposite charge are taken to be degenerate whereas ions are considered as classical owing to their large inertia. The general dispersion relation is derived and a local dispersion relation for MRI is obtained by applying MHD approximations.

Epidemiologists frequently adopt statistical process control tools, like control charts, to detect changes in the incidence or prevalence of a specific disease in real time, thereby protecting against outbreaks and emergent health concerns. Control charts have proven essential in instantly identifying fluctuations in infection rates, spotting emerging patterns, and enabling timely reaction measures in the context of COVID-19 monitoring. This study aims to review and select an optimal control chart in epidemiology to monitor variations in COVID-19 deaths and understand pandemic mortality patterns.

A rapidly expanding global population and a sizeable portion of it that is aging are the main causes of the significant increase in healthcare costs. Healthcare in terms of monitoring systems is undergoing radical changes, making it possible to gauge or monitor the health conditions of people constantly, while also removing some minor possibilities of going to the hospital. The development of automated devices that are either attached to organs or the skin, continually monitoring human activity, has been made feasible by advancements in sensor technologies, embedded systems, wireless communication technologies, nanotechnologies, and miniaturization being ultra-thin, lightweight, highly flexible, and stretchable.
