Vehicular visible light communications (VLC) are considered a suitable technology for vehicular platooning applications. Nevertheless, this domain imposes strict performance requirements. Although numerous works have shown that VLC technology is compatible with platooning applications, existing studies are mainly focused on the physical layer performances, mostly ignoring the disruptive effects generated by neighboring vehicular VLC links.

SARS-CoV-2 infection during pregnancy is associated with adverse maternal and neonatal outcomes, but no systematic synthesis of evidence on COVID-19 vaccination during pregnancy against these outcomes has been undertaken. Thus, we aimed to assess the collective evidence on the effects of COVID-19 vaccination during pregnancy on maternal and neonatal outcomes. PubMed/MEDLINE, CENTRAL, and EMBASE were systematically searched for articles published up to 1 November 2022.

Mesothelioma has become a major health burden since World War II because of the use of asbestos. Although many countries have imposed bans on asbestos, there remain significant mortality and morbidity from mesothelioma because of its long latent period and aggressiveness. Also, the use of asbestos is increasing in low-income countries, potentiating risk of mesothelioma in the coming decades.

Objective: The aim of this study was to assess the association between psoriasis and the risk of all-cause dementia in patients followed in general practices in Germany.

Methods: This retrospective cohort study is based on longitudinal data from the IQVIA Disease Analyzer database and included patients with an initial diagnosis of psoriasis between January 1995 and December 2014 in 1,173 general practices in Germany.

In France, towards the end of the first lockdown, COVID-19 management was largely transferred from hospitals to primary care. Primary care actors adapted their practices to ensure patients' access to care, while limiting contamination. In this study, we aimed to identify patterns of adaptations implemented by French general practitioners (GPs) in May 2020 for outpatients with confirmed or suspected COVID-19, and factors associated with these adaptions.

Introduction: The goal of this study was to compare the outcomes of preoperative brachytherapy followed by radical surgery versus radical surgery alone in cervical cancer with tumor between 2 and 4 cm (FIGO 2018 IB2).

Material And Methods: SENTICOL I and SENTICOL II were two French prospective multicentric trials evaluating sentinel node biopsy in early-stage cervical cancer between 2005 and 2012. Preoperative brachytherapy (low-dose rate or pulse-dose rate at the dose of 60Gy) could be performed 6 to 8 weeks prior to the radical hysterectomy, at the discretion of each center.

However, few studies have examined the recent tendency of PA in the adolescent population. Thus, we aimed to investigate the long-term trend of PA in Korean youth and the prevalence changes between before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite the demonstrated links between schizophrenia and LD, specific clinical patterns of the schizophrenia with a history of LD subgroup remain unknown. The aim of the present study was to investigate cognitive impairment, symptoms and functional outcome associated with a history of LD in a large cross-sectional, multicentric, sample of schizophrenia subjects.

Thus, this study aimed to compare the number of new diagnoses of neck and low back pain in German general and orthopedic practices between 2020 and 2021 and 2019. This retrospective study included patients aged ≥ 18 years with at least one visit to one of 915 general and 145 orthopedic practices in Germany in March - December 2019 (N = 2,842,145), March - December 2020 (N = 2,810,179), or March - December 2021 (N = 3,214,419).

We searched PubMed, EMBASE, and medRxiv from 2019 to 1 June 2022 for cohort and case-control studies comparing the prevalence and clinical outcomes of COVID-19 in patients with IBD and in the general population.
