Background: Many studies have analysed the bibliometric characteristics of highly cited articles in dentistry, and orthodontics. However, scant attention has been paid to articles with low citation rates. The aim of this study is to identify author- and article-specific factors that may be associated with a low citation rate at least 6 years after publication.

A brief version of the Alcohol Consumption Consequences Evaluation Scale (ACCE) [38] was developed to promptly detect possible risks related to alcohol consumption, such as Binge Drinking (BD), in university students. Using the "snowball" method, a sample of 595 students aged 18 to 20 (65.4% women) from the University of Valencia (Spain) was obtained during the 2019-2020 academic year.

Background: Higher cardiac troponin is associated with worse outcomes in patients with acute heart failure. The significance of repeat measurements over hours remains unclear. We assessed whether a repeat measurement and the Δ between measurements of high-sensitivity cardiac troponin I (hs-cTnI) were associated with outcomes in hypervolemic patients with acute heart failure without acute coronary syndrome.

This study analyzes whether parental strictness, which is shared by authoritative parenting (strictness and warmth) and authoritarian parenting (strictness without warmth) styles, always acts as a main protective factor against drug use and psychosocial maladjustment in children. This conclusion has already been stated in numerous classic studies, though emergent research suggests that there are benefits to parental warmth regardless of whether strictness is present or not. Sample were 2,095 Spanish participants (1,227 females, 58.

Sexual solicitation and sexualized interaction with minors by adults constitute one of the most pernicious risks of the Internet. Little is known about the age range in which this phenomenon is most prevalent or the relationship and overlap of this problem with other risks, such as peer-to-peer cybervictimization and cyber dating abuse. Additionally, little empirical evidence exists on whether the overlap between these types of online victimization affects health-related quality of life (HRQoL).

We report a case of imported taeniasis, under the modality of "visiting friends and relatives", in the context of colon hydrotherapy. This technique allows the detection of proglottids, diagnosed in this case as based on the gravid proglottid that presented more than 13 uterine branches and showed active motility. Moreover, the patient did not consume pork for religious reasons.

The recommendation for first-line treatments is to administer non-pharmacological interventions. The objective of this research was to verify the effectiveness of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy in older adults with subclinical and moderate insomnia, studying its impact on sleep quality.

The dataset presented in this article belongs to a test-retest reliability study of the assessment of lower limb muscle strength through handheld dynamometry in patients with End-Stage Renal Disease undergoing hemodialysis. The intervention was carried out at the Hospital de Manises, in Manises (Spain). The strength of different muscle groups in the lower limbs of participants undergoing hemodialysis was assessed at different points.

Around 10% of all detected BLUEs exhibit an impulsive single pulse shape. The rest of BLUEs are unclear (impulsive or not) single, multiple or with ambiguous pulse shapes.

The dataset presented in this article belongs to a randomized controlled trial, conducted between November 2015 and May 2016, where therapeutic exercise interventions were implemented in patients with End-Stage Renal Diseases undergoing hemodialysis. The intervention was carried out at the Hospital de Manises, in Manises (Spain). Participants performed a 16-week exercise program either during dialysis (intradialytic) or at home, combining resistance and aerobic training.

Atorvastatin is the most prescribed 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A reductase inhibitor used to lower cardiovascular risk and constitutes one of the best-selling drugs world-wide. Several physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) models have been developed to assess its non-straightforward pharmacokinetics (PK) as well as that of its metabolites and have been only applied to assess drug-drug interactions (DDI). Here we present a full PBPK model for atorvastatin and its metabolites able to predict within a 2-fold error their PK after the administration of a solid oral dosage form containing the calcium salt of atorvastatin in single and multiple dosing schedules at 20, 40, and 80 mg and 10 mg dose levels, respectively.

The events were detected between the end of March 2019 and November 2020 and consist of X- and gamma-ray energy detections, as well as photometer data (180-230, 337, and 777 nm) and optical camera data (337 and 777 nm). Using the available ASIM data and applying a consistency check based on TGF characteristics and lightning detections from lightning radio atmospherics close in time, we determine the most likely position of the TGFs in relation to the photometer field of view (FoV), and the association to the observed optical pulses.

By monitoring optical emissions from thunderstorms, the Atmosphere-Space Interactions Monitor (ASIM) onboard the International Space Station is providing new clues about lightning initiation by detecting Blue LUminous Events (BLUEs), which are manifestations of electrical corona discharges that sometimes precedes lightning. Here we combine optical and radio observations from a thunderstorm near Malaysia to uncover a new type of event containing multiple optical and radio pulses.

Phenotypic plasticity in reproductive behavior can be a strong driver of individual fitness. In species with high intra-sexual competition, changes in socio-sexual context can trigger quick adaptive plastic responses in males. In particular, a recent study in the vinegar fly () shows that males derive net fitness benefits from being shortly exposed to female cues ahead of access to mating (termed ), but the underlying mechanisms of this phenomenon remain unknown.

We report on observations of corona discharges at the uppermost region of clouds characterized by emissions in a blue band of nitrogen molecules at 337 nm, with little activity in the red band of lightning leaders at 777.4 nm. Past work suggests that they are generated in cloud tops reaching the tropopause and above.

The aim of the present study was to provide further validity evidence for the perceived severity of IPVAW scale (PS-IPVAW), by assessing its measurement invariance between gender and age groups, and between men from the general population and male IPVAW offenders. Item response theory was also used to assess the discrimination of the items and their position on the measured latent trait continuum (i.

Kin selection theory predicts that optimal male-male competition levels can be reduced when competitors are more genetically related to each other than to the population average, contributing to resolve this sexual conflict. Work in has spearheaded empirical tests of this idea, but studies so far have been conducted in laboratory-adapted populations in homogeneous rearing environments that may hamper kin recognition, and used highly skewed sex ratios that may fail to reflect average natural conditions.
