Background: Antisocial personality disorder is a frequently studied personality disorder, and its etiopathogenesis is still investigated. Neuroimaging demonstrated that certain regions of the brain could be associated with this disorder, and in the present study, we aimed to investigate the changes in retina, which could be considered an extension of the brain in antisocial personality disorder patients with optical coherence tomography.

The objective of this systematic review is to present older individuals' views on the advance care planning (ACP) process and the factors affecting those opinions. The review contains search terms predetermined in the databases of CINAHL, MEDLINE (via PubMed), Academic Search Ultimate, Web of Science, Master FILE, and TR Dizin over the last 10 years (1 January 2012-31 December 2021) in English and Turkish. The studies were included in the research using inclusion (sample age ≥ 50, focusing on individuals' opinions on ACP) and exclusion (articles whose samples consisted of individuals with a specific disease, non-research articles) criteria.

Heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT) is a rare but potentially devastating and life-threatening complication from using heparin. HIT not only causes thrombocytopenia, but it also carries an increased risk for fatal thrombotic complications. In this report, we describe the case of a patient in whom fatal HIT developed after successful surgical repair of a posterior post-infarction ventricular septal rupture with cardiopulmonary bypass.
