Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) form symbiotic relationships with the roots of nearly all land-dwelling plants, increasing growth and productivity, especially during abiotic stress. AMF improves plant development by improving nutrient acquisition, such as phosphorus, water, and mineral uptake. AMF improves plant tolerance and resilience to abiotic stressors such as drought, salt, and heavy metal toxicity.

Cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) and molybdenum disulphide (MoS) incorporated into ZnO nanorods (NRs) were synthesized a chemical precipitation route at room temperature. All concerned samples were characterized to examine their optical properties, elemental composition, phase formation, surface morphology and functional group presence. The aim of this research was to enhance the catalytic properties of ZnO by co-doping with various concentrations of CNCs and MoS NRs.

Metal-based antimicrobials have the potential to profile sustainable solutions to infection care and health. In this study, we report the synthesis of rGO-ZnO hybrid nanostructures by a simple co-precipitation approach with various mass ratios of GO, and their antimicrobial potential was assessed. The structural analysis confirms the presence of a hexagonal wurtzite structure with peak shifting in hybrid nanostructures and increases in crystallite size (11-24 nm).

Pectinases hydrolyze pectin and make up 25% of global food processing enzyme sales. In this study, we aimed to purify exo-polygalacturonase (Exo-PG) by using galacturonic acid conjugated magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) and examined its application in juice purification. The submerged fermentation was carried out in the presence of apple pectin (1%) to promote production of exo-PG from Aspergillus flavus.

Background: Periodic surveillance of antibiotic consumption in the form of point prevalence studies is a quick and robust methodology to evaluate prescribing trends in hospitals. The current study was undertaken to document antibiotic consumption among neonates and children from hospitals in Pakistan.

Methods: This large multicenter study using the World Health Organization standardized methodology and AWaRe (Access, Watch, and Reserve) classification examined antibiotic consumption for suspected bacterial infection among neonates and children admitted hospitals in Punjab, Pakistan.

Background And Objective: Epidemic models are used to describe the dynamics of population densities or population sizes under suitable physical conditions. In view that population densities and sizes cannot take on negative values, the positive character of those quantities is an important feature that must be taken into account both analytically and numerically. In particular, susceptible-infected-recovered (SIR) models must also take into account the positivity of the solutions.
