Ti-MXene allows a range of possibilities to tune their compositional stoichiometry due to their electronic and electrochemical properties. Other than conventionally explored Ti-MXene, there have been ample opportunities for the non-Ti-based MXenes, especially the emerging Mo-based MXenes. Mo-MXenes are established to be remarkable with optoelectronic and electrochemical properties, tuned energy, catalysis, and sensing applications.

Medium entropy alloy (MEA) is a hot spot in the field of material research in recent years. At present, the most widely used processing method of MEAs is "casting-rolling-heat treatment", and the preparation of CoCrNi MEA by laser additive manufacturing (LAM) is still in primary stage. In this study, CoCrNi MEAs were fabricated with different scanning speeds by laser additive manufacturing, and the influence of scanning speed on its mechanical properties was investigated.

Objective: The objective of this study was to explore the distributed network effects of intracranial electrical stimulation in patients with medically refractory epilepsy using dynamic functional connectivity (dFC) and graph indicators.
Methods: The time-varying connectivity patterns of dFC (state-based metrics) as well as topological properties of static functional connectivity (sFC) and dFC (graph indicators) were assessed before and after the intracranial electrical stimulation. The sliding window method and -means clustering were used for the analysis of dFC states, which were characterized by connectivity strength, occupancy rate, dwell time, and transition.

Recent studies have focused on exploring the potential of resistive random-access memory (ReRAM) utilizing halide perovskites as novel data storage devices. This interest stems from its notable attributes, including a high ON/OFF ratio, low operating voltages, and exceptional mechanical properties. Nevertheless, there have been reports indicating that memory systems utilizing halide perovskites encounter certain obstacles pertaining to their stability and dependability, mostly assessed through endurance and retention time.

Understanding the effects of land-use change on stock and composition of soil organic carbon (SOC) and nitrogen (N) is pivotal for sustainable agriculture and climate change adaption. However, previous studies have often overlooked the specific vegetation type in land-use changes. Therefore, a five-year lysimeter block experiment was conducted, involving non-vegetation, eulalia (C plant), and clover (C plant) to investigate the impacts of vegetation conversion from pasture on SOC and N dynamics and their natural stable isotopes.

The explosive demand for wireless communications has intensified the complexity of spectrum dynamics, particularly within unlicensed bands. To promote efficient spectrum utilization and minimize interference during communication, spectrum sensing needs to evolve to a stage capable of detecting multidimensional spectrum states. Signal identification, which identifies each device's signal source, is a potent method for deriving the spectrum usage characteristics of wireless devices.

Background: The rolling contact joint (RCJ) mechanism is a system of constraint that allows two circular bodies connected with flexible straps to roll relative to one another without slipping. This study aims to compare the biomechanical characteristics between the conventional proximal interphalangeal joint (PIPJ) flexible hinge (FH) implant and the novel PIPJ implant adopting a RCJ mechanism during PIPJ range of motion using finite element (FE) analysis.
Methods: The three-dimensional (3D) surface shape of a conventional PIPJ FH implant was obtained using a 3D laser surface scanning system.

In this study, numerical simulation was employed to predict the performance and internal flow characteristics of the inlet of an axial-flow pump by assigning an absolute flow angle to the inlet guide vane (IGV) trailing-edge flow. Further, the finite volume method based on the three-dimensional Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations was employed to discretize the governing equations. The shear stress transport model was used as the turbulence model, and an appropriate number of nodes were selected for the hexahedral grid system through a grid-dependency test.

Single-point incremental forming (SPIF) has emerged as a cost-effective and rapid manufacturing method, especially suitable for small-batch production due to its minimal reliance on molds, swift production, and affordability. Nonetheless, SPIF's effectiveness is closely tied to the specific characteristics of the employed sheet materials and the intricacies of the desired shapes. Immediate experimentation with SPIF often leads to numerous product defects.

Background: Previous cross-sectional studies were on the basis of three categories of achievement goal orientation; therefore, it is not yet possible to fully examine whether achievement goal orientation affects academic engagement through learning strategies and self-efficacy and whether those effects vary by grade. Then, it is necessary to further explore whether different achievement goal orientations affect academic engagement through the mediation of learning strategies and academic self-efficacy from the perspective of integration of achievement goal orientation theory and social cognitive theory under the premise of four classifications of achievement goal orientation, if so, whether there is consistent-path structure between grades.
Methods: Participants were 1429 high school students (647 male,782 female) were token as subjects through cluster sampling.

In this paper, self-powered photodetectors (PDs) with a dual-band photoresponse and excellent photodetection capabilities in complex environments can meet the needs of diverse detection targets, complex environments and diverse tasks. Herein, BiO nanosheets were deposited on the surface of TiO nanorod arrays (NRs) by chemical bath deposition (CBD) to construct self-powered heterojunction PDs with a UV-blue dual-band photoresponse. The nucleation and growth of BiO nanosheets on TiO NRs substrates were controlled by varying the concentration of the complexing agent triethanolamine (TEA) in the precursor solution, which regulated the morphology, crystalline quality and energy band structure as well as the photoelectronic properties of BiO films.
