Background: Active vaccination has been utilized to prevent de novo hepatitis B virus infection (DNHB) in anti-HBc (+) grafts after liver transplantation. However, the long-term efficacy of active vaccination and graft/patient outcomes of anti-HBc (+) grafts have yet to be comprehensively investigated.
Materials And Methods: Among 204 pediatric patients enrolled in the study, 82 recipients received anti-HBc (+) grafts.

Intestinal parasitic infections (IPIs) caused by protozoan and helminth parasites are among the most common infections in humans in low-and-middle-income countries. IPIs affect not only the health status of a country, but also the economic sector. Over the last decade, pattern recognition and image processing techniques have been developed to automatically identify parasitic eggs in microscopic images.

Notwithstanding the progress made across the cancer care continuum, a major problem that many patients with cancer experience is the difficulty of access to global standards of care. Awareness of this problem has been increasing most especially when the economic context of a country forces health systems to deliver quality care despite the rising costs of diagnostic and therapeutic innovations amidst limited resources. Ultimately, inappropriate delivery of care to patients with cancer contributes to inadequate and unequal access to high-value therapy increasing financial toxicity among patients.

Space situational awareness (SSA) systems play a significant role in space navigation missions. One of the most essential tasks of this system is to recognize space objects such as spacecrafts and debris for various purposes including active debris removal, on-orbit servicing, and satellite formation. The complexity of object recognition in space is due to several sensing conditions, including the variety of object sizes with high contrast, low signal-to-noise ratio, noisy backgrounds, and several orbital scenarios.

In December 2019, an outbreak emerged of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) which leads to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The World Health Organisation announced the outbreak a global health emergency on 30 January 2020 and by 11 March 2020 it was declared a pandemic. The spread and severity of the outbreak took a heavy toll and overburdening of the global health system, particularly since there were no available drugs against SARS-CoV-2.

In the midst of COVID-19, radical change in the work environment further exacerbated the detrimental effects of critical illness in the intensive care unit (ICU). This may be heightened if the patient experiences a lamentable end-of-life experience due to inadequate end-of-life care (EoLC). Anchoring on the theory of bureaucratic caring and the peaceful end-of-life theory, insights can be gained into the motivations and behaviors that support the delivery of palliative care during COVID-19.
