Cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) is the first-line treatment, but there is a critical lack of behavioral health providers trained in CBT-I because, in part, of a bottleneck in training availability and costs. Critical Factors Influencing Interorganizational Relationships Between Juvenile Probation and Behavioral Health Agencies.

Although interorganizational relationships (IORs) are essential to the effective delivery of human services, very little research has examined relationships between juvenile justice agencies and behavioral health providers, and few studies have identified the most critical organizational and individual-level characteristics influencing IORs. Across 36 sites, juvenile probation officials (n = 458) and community behavioral health providers (n = 91) were surveyed about characteristics of their agencies, themselves, and IORs with each other. Generalized Linear Mixed Models were used to analyze the data.

A Low-Cost Platform for Laparoscopic Simulation Training.

Background: With the new requirement for Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery certification among graduating obstetrics and gynecology residents, there has been an increased interest in simulation training. The Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery curriculum uses a commercial laparoscopic box trainer to practice and assess laparoscopic skills. We created a low-cost, space-efficient, portable and versatile training platform that allows for the breakdown of complex tasks, and we studied its user acceptability.

In this study, we evaluated the association of heavy drinking, changes in serum magnesium levels and biochemical evidence of liver injury in alcohol-use-disorder (AUD) patients who had no clinical signs or symptoms of liver injury. We also aimed to identify any sex-based differences in patients with mild or no biochemical evidence of liver injury induced by heavy drinking.

Objective: To provide guidance on an optimised "train-the-trainer" (TTT) structured educational programme for surgical trainers, in which delegates learn a standardised approach to training candidates in skill acquisition. A pediatric regimen for older adolescents and young adults with acute lymphoblastic leukemia: results of CALGB 10403.

Retrospective studies have suggested that older adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) have better survival rates when treated using a pediatric ALL regimen administered by pediatric treatment teams. To address the feasibility and efficacy of using a pediatric treatment regimen for AYA patients with newly diagnosed ALL administered by adult treatment teams, we performed a prospective study, CALGB 10403, with doses and schedule identical to those in the Children's Oncology Group study AALL0232. From 2007 to 2012, 318 patients were enrolled; 295 were eligible and evaluable for response.

Progress towards controlling and eliminating parasitic worms, including schistosomiasis, onchocerciasis, and lymphatic filariasis, is advancing rapidly as national governments, multinational NGOs, and pharmaceutical companies launch collaborative chemotherapeutic control campaigns. Aim: To present our findings assessing the biomechanical properties of IPPs with and without rear tip extenders (RTEs).

Methods: This is a biomechanical study of the 3 most commonly used IPPs (AMS CX, AMS LGX, and Coloplast Titan) as assessed by column compression, modified cantilever deflection, and 3-point bending methods.

There are currently 15.5 million cancer survivors in USA who are increasingly relying on primary care providers for their care. Patient-Centered Medical Homes (PCMHs) have the potential to meet the unique needs of cancer survivors; but, few studies have examined PCMH attributes as potential resources for delivering survivorship care.
