This study aims to describe patients treated by a municipal acute care team and to explore patients' and caregivers' experiences with at-home treatment.

Introduction: The heterogeneity in people with borderline personality disorder (BPD) and the range of specialised psychotherapies means that people with certain BPD characteristics might benefit more or less from different types of psychotherapy. Identifying moderating characteristics of individuals is a key to refine and tailor standard treatments so they match the specificities of the individual participant. Objective: To examine the risk factors for new chronic opioid use in elderly patients who underwent hip fracture surgery.

Design: Prospective population-based cohort study.

Setting And Participants: Using Danish nationwide health registries, we identified all opioid non-user patients aged ≥65 years who had undergone hip fracture surgery from 2005 to 2016 and were alive within the first year following surgery.

Lenient rate control versus strict rate control for atrial fibrillation: a protocol for the Danish Atrial Fibrillation (DanAF) randomised clinical trial.

ObjectivesOur large-scale cluster randomised controlled trial aimed to investigate the effects on health knowledge and enjoyment of an 11 week 'health education through football' programme for children aged 10-12 years old. 3127 Danish school children (49% girls) aged 10-12 years from a total of 154 schools located in 63% of the Danish municipalities (69 of 98) took part in the analysis. A 5:1 cluster randomisation was performed at school level for the intervention group (IG) or the control group (CG).

Introduction: The objective of this study was to give an overview of prevalence, incidence and mortality of type 1 (T1D) and type 2 diabetes (T2D) in Denmark, and their temporal trends.

Research Design And Methods: We constructed a diabetes register from existing population-based healthcare registers, including a classification of patients as T1D or T2D, with coverage from 1996 to 2016. The purpose of this study was to measure examination time for radiology procedures before and after physical integration of a radiology unit in the ED. We retrospectively acquired data from the radiology information system and compared time from referral to end of radiological examination before and after physical integration of the radiology unit in the ED for 19,897 X-ray and 6,940 CT examinations.
